Columbina Skill doesn't hit Shock Trooper when she is the only Nod Krai in the team
For anyone attempting to try Columbina as the only Nod Krai for the Fatui, her skill doesn't reach and can't apply hydro if she's the only Nod Krai in the team.
I turned my pc off but got the motivation for the post that I did it on my phone lmao. The potato quality is sad

My guess is that Columbina's skill has smaller aoe radius without ascendant gleam, and the shock trooper's shield is huge, so it will not reach the trooper.

Barbara's ring AoE isn't exactly huge either, and yet she has constant app that hits the shield. Same for Nilou, XQ orbitals, etc. Columbina obviously seem to have some trigger condition that needs her to reach the enemy himself, not just his shield, but this still feels VERY scummy for her skill to work like that.

yes, her off field hydro will only trigger if the enemy gets inside the circle, if not it will not trigger

You don't need to guess, it states in her skill's description that Ascendant Gleam increases the AoE.

Yeah but if the intention is that you can only damage the shield if you can hit the trooper, none of the melee characters and a good number of ranged ones couldn't be used for this fight.
