So I have been wondering or I might've just lost In digesting the story I just want to make sure I got them all right.

1st - Capitano ("The Captain"): Deceased. (?)
He merged his soul with the Lord of the Night to save Natlan.

2nd - Il Dottore ("The Doctor"): Deceased.
Defeated by "The Damselette" in Nod-krai.

3rd - Columbina ("The Damselette"): Active, Playable.

5th - Pulcinella ("The Rooster"): Unknown.

6th - Scaramouche ("The Balladeer"): Active, Playable (as Wander.)

7th - Sandrone ("The Marionette"): Deceased.
Got Destroyed by "The Doctor" in Nod-krai.

8th - La Signora ("The Fair Lady"): Deceased.
Clapped by Raiden Shogun in Inazuma.

9th - Pantalone ("The Regrator"): Unknown.

11th - Tartaglia ("Childe"): Active, Playable.

I think your numbering skipped 10th, but considering the Fatui's secrecy, that might actually be lore-accurate.

Kronie72026-01-21 17:42

Yeah, I didn't realize that until I read your comment but the research said The 10th Harbinger is currently Unknown, some suggest its crucabena but I think that's a No since she got clapped by Arlecchino long before Arlecchino became a Harbinger.

tenaka302026-01-21 17:53

Arlecchino took Crucabenas position. It is possible Crucabena also had the name Knave given Pierro refers to it as;

"This title and its legacy of bloodshed are now yours to bear..."

in The Song Burning in the Embers.

An [ongoing theory](https://www.reddit.com/r/FatuiHQ/comments/1ocfqrt/will_the_traveler_becomes_the_10th_harbinger/) is the Traveler will be the 10th Fatui Harbinger. I think it is a plausible theory considering all the irminsul shenanigans.

lostn2026-01-21 23:16

there's no 10th.

Since Pierro didn't take a number, 1-11 skipping 10, plus Pierro is 11 harbingers.

Why'd they do it that way? Who knows. Maybe there was 10th at one stage and they died. Or maybe it was an oversight by the devs.

Fleur_Hiiroluvr2026-01-21 17:36

well Pulcinella, Pantalone and Pierro are all very much alive currently even though we haven't met them personally so I don't think you need to type in "unknown"

Capitano isn't dead but he isn't alive either, he created a paradox.

Sandrone and Dottore are well "deceased" for now.

qelsj2026-01-21 17:40

We don’t know if dottore is deceased cause he has like many clones of himself, imo h didnt but otherwise seems correct

Wyrmaster192026-01-21 17:57

I knew the numbers felt unbalanced, but I hadn't written it out in a way that I could see how off they were. Hopefully Snezhnaya clarifies the Fatui position a lot, because for a generally antagonistic force, the Traveler is "friendly" with roughly 5 of 7 harbingers we've met so far

perfectchaos832026-01-21 18:31

This is how I see it

Pierro - Active: In Sneznhaya; not yet met
Capitano - Inactive. Body alive and soul merged with LotK.
Dottore - Unknown. Due to the nature of Segments a definitive status is impossible to determine at this point.
Columbina - Resigned; Playable
Arlecchino - Active; Playable
Pulcinella - Active: in Sneznhaya; not yet met
Scaramouche - Resigned, erased from memories and position perceived as unfilled; Playable
Sandrone - Inactive/Dead; seeds have been planted for an eventual return
Signora - Dead
Pantalone - Active: in Sneznhaya; not yet met
10th - Unknown; Was this position ever filled?
Tartaglia - Active; Playable

SoTiri2026-01-21 18:34

Is there supposed to be a new harbinger or 1 less harbinger once hat guy erased himself?

TheBrownestStain2026-01-21 19:36

As far as i am aware the position exists but is still unfilled

h2odragon002026-01-21 19:34

I am always amazed that people still think that Dottore kept some segment from Nahida.

Kinda undermines Nahidas powers.

perfectchaos832026-01-21 19:39

It's not that he kept some, it's that Nahida's deal didn't stop the creation of new Segments which Dottore clearly noted and brought to her attention. "You're only temporarily ahead"

Anxious-Drag-60282026-01-21 19:49

I mean it’s clear he’s not dead but we just don’t know how. We could’ve been in a dream/fake world, he could’ve made new segments since Nahida, or something else tbh.

At this point it’s all speculation

lostn2026-01-21 23:14

>I am always amazed that people still think that Dottore kept some segment from Nahida.

>Kinda undermines Nahidas powers.

He didn't. The deal was that he kills all of his segments. He fulfilled his end of the deal. However the deal did not specify that he can't create *new* ones going forward. He has.

fiersome082026-01-22 16:42

when ? i haven't seen anything that said dottore creates a new segment after sumeru AQ

lostn2026-01-21 23:13

there are some doubts about the deceased. Two maybe three of them can feasibly come back. No Signora isn't one of them.

Ke5_Jun2026-01-22 14:26

You kinda also have to consider that most of the harbingers are no longer harbingers. If by “active” you mean “alive”, then yes they are active, but not as harbingers.

Pierro - alive and in Snezhnaya.
Capitano - his body is alive (it cannot die due to the curse placed on it) but his soul is resting in the Night Kingdom.
Dottore - **probably** dead. Vaporized by Columbina and crew, but there is a possibility he created at least one more segment in between Sumeru and Nod Krai’s AQs. His deal with Nahida never stated he must never make new segments, and he literally tells her that he will make more.
Columbina - alive, but defected from the fatui. Is now the trilunar goddess.
Arlecchino - alive and active as a harbinger. Currently the highest ranking harbinger we know the whereabouts of.
Pulcinella - alive and in Snezhnaya, working on project Stuzha.
Scaramouche - erased from Irminsul. Now lives as Wanderer and is no longer affiliated with the fatui.
Sandrone - dead, killed by Dottore. Her parts have been salvaged and brought to the Fontaine Research Institute for safekeeping. As she is a synthetic lifeform, there is a chance she may be revived in the future.
Signora - dead, killed by Raiden Shogun after losing a duel before the throne against Traveler.
Pantalone - alive and in Snezhnaya, working on project Stuzha.
10th harbinger - status unknown. Possibly never existed or is in a state similar to Wanderer.
Childe - alive and in Snezhnaya, currently reporting back on Nod Krai’s events to the Tsaritsa.
