SevenPls might genuinely be one of the most skilled western CCs. I love his videos so much, he’s constantly pushing dps boundaries.

That, and he might be the only one with actually useful information between the famous / semi-famous ones. Everyone else just runs a combination of shitty excel calculations, vague and useless opinions, skill description reading for 30 minutes.

I do enjoy his content a lot but you don't need to shit on others and other forms of contents to be able to enjoy his. Different ways of TC have their own values
babangelsin2026-01-21 21:23
I am just stating what I believe to be correct.
caternal2026-01-21 21:59
This test was done with similar environment and assumption to those excel sheets and the creator of this test dummy is pretty involved with those excel TCs.
I know number scares you but putting others down just for the sake of it is not it.
babangelsin2026-01-21 22:01
What does the *test dummy's creator* has anything to do with a person hitting those test dummies and why would you need excel TCs to create a test dummy?
I know that you are emotionally invested in defending CC you like but spouting random words is not it.
caternal2026-01-21 22:02
whatever makes you sleep better buddy,
hopefully you wake up tomorrow with a little less hatred.
babangelsin2026-01-21 22:03
No, please, tell me how an in-game test dummy is a similar environment to an excel calculation?
Admirable-Food99422026-01-21 22:13
It's that the spreadsheet is similar to the environment, the spreadsheet assumes an enemy standing still, not dealing damage, not using whatever ability enemies have.
The spreadsheet has those conditions with the only difference of; the spreadsheet has 1 combo, test Dummies people can test more.
babangelsin2026-01-21 22:19
Spreadsheet is trying to simulate the environment.
The test dummy **is** the environment.
A shitty excel calculation is a shitty attempt at simulating the in-game environment.
You could have a test dummy that attacks you every 3 seconds and a simulation outside the game that assumes the same thing. Spreadsheets or simulations also can run multiple rotations or make different assumptions. Whatever you can do in-game you can attempt to calculate in a spreadsheet or a simulation.
This is like saying that a lab test and an actual application of a medicine is done in a similar environment.
Admirable-Food99422026-01-21 22:31
A spreadsheet can calculate;
- Damage per hit(each hit, na1-5, charged, E, q)
- How many hits(on average) crit
- How much it crits for
- how long between attacks on an optimal timing and combo
- how much damage from said attacks
- how much dps
A dummy can calculate;
- Damage per hit(each hit, na1-5, charged, E, q)
- How many hits(on average) crit
- How much it crits for
- how long between attacks on a suboptimal/human timing and combo
- how much damage from said attacks
- how much dps
The main difference is a spreadsheet with have the timing perfect and best combo, a dummy won't. From that you should use both, the spreadsheet says what it should be, dummy says what it is. So if dummy is less then spreadsheet, you need to improve your combat.
babangelsin2026-01-21 22:38
You just listed things that the dummy **shows** and spreadsheet tries to **calculate**. There is a massive leap between them and you somehow think that the only difference is the imperfectness of player input.
No, that is not the "main difference". The main difference is that a spreadsheet is a simplistic simulation that tries to predict those things, and its accuracy depends on the person making the sheet and the software they are using. It is not a power tool that prints the in-game outcome based on "perfect timings".
I think this is the main thing people who are not involved in actual TCing are not understanding. These people are fallible, they don't put in the work, and their calculations are not extracted from god. And, there are things you need to do in a simulation for accuracy that you literally *can't* in Excel.
Admirable-Food99422026-01-21 22:40
You would be surprised what you can do in excel.
MachinegunFireDodger2026-01-21 23:59
They hated him for speaking the truth. There's so much "vibesheeting" in the TC circles it's fucking insane, and the amount of people who blindly parrot their results in pathetic "my char goodder than ur char" wars is absolutely nauseating.
I vehemently believe that excelbros are a net negative on the playerbase.
Lazy-Traffic53462026-01-22 00:00
It's like numbers matter for them more than how it gonna comfortable it feels in real combat not some Excel warriors
newplayer1352026-01-22 01:53
lol you got downvoted so hard, but this is so true. 7 is one of the few CCs who plays the game at a high level and focuses primarily on techniques and how to play better.
There are definitely some other good CCs, but there are a lot of bad ones, people who absolutely cannot play the game, give out bad or useless info, etc.
At this point, there is no excuse for any sheet CC to not prove their sheets with in-game testing, with a DPS dummy where you can manually edit stats.
babangelsin2026-01-22 01:56
>not prove their sheets with in-game testing
That would involve actual effort and time, and most importantly -accountability-, which would prevent them from posting "first look" videos to cash in on all the clueless people slurping their slop and paying their rents.
Crimson_Raven2026-01-22 00:32
I love his videos, though I wish he would revisit characters after their initial release.
Gaenn2026-01-22 01:38
It's been a damn long while since Mavuika's release
Titanium702026-01-22 14:15
While there's probably a lot to subtract in terms of artifact quality...
My C6R1 Mauvi does 260k.
Given, my Citlali build desperately needs a rework, so I can get more but not a lot more.
XDXDXD
Vtubing_Idiot_692026-01-22 14:32
Could you dm me your builds, this genuinely sounds interesting.
geovany_toso2026-01-22 19:01
That's almost the same damage as my c1 Arlecchino, which means, there's something really wrong with your mavuika
Ancient_Rhubarb_37832026-01-22 20:59
i think they probably mean sustained dps not single highest hit lol
