How can Ei seal Vision powers ? Even Dottore cannot seal Moon Wheel and Visions despite having Three Moons, which are even more powerful than Archons.

First of all, it's a gameplay mechanic. Second, she doesn't seal the Visions' power, she just seizes them (if she stop a Vision's power then we wouldn't have beat her in that fight).

Seizing the Visions was kinda on brand for the story.
But didn't the traveler have access to the elements in that fight?

Yes, because one of the main points of Inazuma is the Traveler being an "exception, the enemy of Eternity" for using elemental energy without a Vision. So as part of the gameplay mechanic the Traveler can use elements.

The traveler doesn't use Vision so of course

I wouldn't take this as any form of canon, just a cute game mechanic. The traveler canonically fights Ei alone.

Electro Kazuha is still the best moment in the game

I always thought that happened because we were in her plane of euthymia and she had special control over visions there since it’s her domain, the traveler of course was fine since they don’t need a vision to use elements.
I might be wrong about that though and it was just a fun little gameplay mechanic because the story was about the vision hunt decree

Yea lets mix gameplay and lore
thwrlsgenshin2026-01-21 21:03
doesn't help when even clothes from miliastra have lore behind it.

You fight her in the Plane of Euthymia, which is basically her conciousness. In theory she could do anything in there.
I'd be glad she didn't replace your limbs with coconuts and make you bob for apples.

I guess you forgot, We are fighting her, ON HER TURF.
Basically, it's a reality created by her.

How do you know that Dottore can't do this? As far as I can tell, he never tried. Probably didn't think that he needed to - that his overwhelming strength would trump Celestia's pitiful offerings.
Additionally, he was still learning to use his moon powers. He even experimented with them during the AQ while trying to convince the Traveler to side with him when he froze the traveler for a month when he'd actually only intended to freeze them for a few moments.
Something requiring as much finesse as switching off a Vision probably requires a lot more finesse than grabbing a chunk of the moon and smashing it into the ground.

It's her own mind realm.... It's not far fetched she can do that.
Ploffers2026-01-21 23:43
theres no evidence dottore cant, right? he probably just didnt see a need to considering he had basically no chance of losing until the last moment, and at that point the visionless traveler/columbina were doing the heavy lifting.
