I can't with the melusines in the Neuvillette outfit quest, their attempt to see him was adorable enough and then they go and get in a neat line to wait for me, I'm gonna cry 😭
Leading the marching Melusines into the Palais Mermonia was the highlight of the quest without a doubt.

When I started this quest, I wasn't interested at all. I don't have New Valet, don't care about his outfit. But yeah, by this point in the quest, I had a big grin on my face, thinking 'man, I love these little things'. Seeing Pahsiv again was also really nice

It makes me sad that sigeweine is so human-like, I love the Melusines, they're just so adorable. Hopefully (very unlikely) a regular melusine will become playable (I'd also just love more playable non-humans who actually look somewhat non-human).

Sigewinne\*
Z000Burst2026-01-22 13:18
sigewinne is wearing some one melted flesh, it would be very rude to take it off

My mind started playing the mitchiri neko song when they started walking in line.

Their little skippy skips when you get back to the Melusines home area and they're all skipping around New Valet 🥹🥹

Salter_KingofBorgors2026-01-22 00:48
Honestly when we forst saw pics of Melusine I had no idea what to think of them. But they grew on my real fast
notfound1-2026-01-22 01:02
I entered the palace and assumed they just will be there and some cutscene will start but no… They were still outside waiting for me in a line 🥲 Loved this quest and loved the idea of presenting a new outfit as a gift from melusines, even though I’m not that fond of the outfit itself
SectorApprehensive582026-01-22 01:11
melusine social distancing
witchywater112026-01-22 01:12
Puca meeting Pahsiv and going "yay we can hold hands!" with those oven mitt hands was so freaking cute.

I love melusines , they are lovely creatures, i will hunt down anyone who hurt melusines
tylertatsch302026-01-22 03:45
That is pretty cute! I actually did the outfit quest but I didn’t get the outfit as a reward. I bet it was because I didn’t have Neuvillette yet…
TheSaiguy2026-01-22 04:16
It's because you have to buy it in the shop
tylertatsch302026-01-22 04:16
Oh… well that’s dumb.
piichan142026-01-22 05:17
I would've allowed them to do a gun salute inside Neuv's office
Confident_River_35832026-01-22 05:37
They’re seriously so adorable...The way they line up so politely is too cute.
bluedragjet2026-01-22 07:24
They line up better than most adults irl
Vintage_Glass2026-01-22 08:16
I love them they’re so precious <3
Serefin992026-01-22 10:14
They are the pride of Fontaine for a reason.
Drayachyika2026-01-22 13:34
I loved the part where Puca give his little Neuvillette sign to Pashiv, it was just so cuteee\~
Nexius_2026-01-22 15:33
melusines are an all-female species
Neospanner2026-01-22 16:57
Technically, they're a genderless species. Neuvillette passed a decree that they should be referred to as female, but that was more of an effort to help integrate them into human culture.
Drayachyika2026-01-22 17:29
Thank you for the info!
Drayachyika2026-01-22 17:28
Wait they are?? I didn't know that, I genuinely thought Pashiv was a boy thoughhh
YellowFogLights2026-01-22 23:24
I’m so proud of Pahsiv and her tremendous vocabulary now
Drayachyika2026-01-23 08:34

My favourite npcs of Genshin Impact.
I'm hopeful we'll get a Melusine character who looks like the other Melusine.
Clavus2026-01-22 15:07
I just love any dialogue that involves Melusines. They're absolute wildcards with almost anything they say.
