Collab... Just for fun

One thing Genshin suffers from lacking is in-game collaborations, however, speaking of collaborations, I decided to pose a question to see the answers:

If Genshin Impact were to have a crossover with another franchise in a promotional manga with a medium-sized arc, what would be the option?

In my case, I would like a crossover with Black Clover, focusing on characters from Mond, and there would be many funny interactions between Paimon and Asta...

Pass, I prefer to see more Genshin stories.

We already have Aloy.

No one plays her, she sucks.

If she was OP and that Crossover contract never got renewed you got other issues now.

Pass for me jim.

I wouldn't say Genshin "suffers" from it. They really don't need it, and the devs are very much against it. Aloy is the only time they ever did it, and that's because they were forced to do it by Sony.

Just to clarify one thing, I'm ignoring the collaboration that brought Aloy; I'm referring to collaborations that combine with Genshin more naturally. The game has a "medieval fantasy" theme, and there are plenty of works with that theme.

In addition, there are works that tangentially combine, for example, a collaboration with Dragon Ball with Goku's plot (at a point more or less between the end of the classic series and the beginning of Z) on a journey to find the Dragon Balls in Teyvat.

Another one, a Genshin crossover with Inuyasha... imagine one focused on the main characters of Inuyasha together with the Traveler, Paimon, and the Youkai characters from Inazuma...

Dungeon Meshi

It was really fun seeing them eating weird stuffs in Arknights and i want to see them eating again in Teyvat. Slime, blubberbeast, saurian, hilicurl, maybe even consecrated beast lol

...also i want Laios to ask "do you lay eggs?" again to someone

Now that's what I'm talking about!!!... instead of people dwelling on Aloy...

People dwelled too much on Aloy for sure

There are several posts also asked about this back then. People didn't mean "genshin should do collab". They only asked "what collab do you think would be fun?" as a fun casual discussion

And what people said?

"I don't want collab"

"Collab sucks"

Bruh....that's not what was asked.

Interestingly, when it comes to "Genshin Collabs," practically every option I think of would likely cause Paimon trouble with someone...

\- Collab with Black Clover: "Asta's speech is always yelling";

\- Collab with Frieren or Shield Hero: "Naofumi and Frieren's dry demeanor";

\- Collab with Konosuba: "The quartet keeps parasitizing the two of them";

\- Collab with Inuyasha: "Inuyasha and Paimon would clash because of their personalities"...

Etc...

Even in a Re:Zero collab, Paimon would cause trouble with someone...
