Is Capturing Radiance guaranteed on the 4th loss?

I’ve been saving up for Neuvillette for a long time since I missed every rerun for him. I have 174 wishes saved up (with the new mail rewards it’ll be 184, I can buy another 12 with star glitter). I have lost the 50/50 3 times in a row (and was dragged out to 80-90 pity EVERY time). I lost on Mavuika’s last banner and got Flins for the guarantee, lost on Durin’s banner and got him on the guarantee, and now I just lost the 50/50 on Ineffa’s banner. I really want Ineffa for my Flins, but I’m not sure how many wishes I can throw at her will still having Neuvillette guaranteed. Will my next 50/50 loss be a guaranteed win? Because I do have the guarantee since I lost the 50/50, so I could keep wishing on Ineffa and get her then use about 90 wishes on Neuvillette if he’s guaranteed. If he isn’t guaranteed, I need 180 wishes because my luck is SERIOUSLY THAT BAD. Any recommendations on what I should do? (And yes I know Neuvillette isn’t as relevant as all the new characters coming out, but I’ve wanted him for so long so he is non negotiable)

Yes, Ineffa guarantee. And capturing radiance will come out if you lose the next 50/50

Yup you’re guaranteed for your next two limited characters if you’ve lost three 50/50s in a row so you only need 180 wishes for both Neuvillette and Ineffa. Hope you get an early at least!

Does it work like that? I remember looking it up and triggering the radiance resets the counter to 1 as if it's a 50/50 win. It will revert back to zero if you win twice in a row.

Exactly, it's there to prevent more than 3 50/50 loses. OP already lost 3, so they have to win the next one. Capturing radiance does not affect normal guaranteed rolls, it only affects 50/50 pulls, so what it means:

1. OP's next 5\* pull is normal guarantee. Capturing radiance rules do not apply at all, counter stays unchanged.
2. Next 5\* pull after the guarantee will be 50/50. This one will be affected by Capturing radiance rules. OP lost previous 3 50/50 pulls, so counter will force Capturing radiance to trigger in this one. After this trigger, counter reset.
3. Last pull is considered a win because Capturing triggered, next 5\* pull will be normal 50/50.

So in OP's case, they basically have 2 guarantees in a row now. One normal and next one through Capturing.

Ok, I'm getting confused again. Here's another [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/1idxzmw/i_heard_some_players_say_that_capturing_radiance/). From what I understand, it's saying it counts as a 50/50 win so the next 5star isn't a guarantee, it's just another 50/50.

I just got capturing radiance in Bina so I could test for myself if the next 5star is guaranteed. I say test since if I get a limited character next time, I still wouldn't be able to confirm if it was guaranteed or just a 50/50 win. Meaning can only confirm that's not the case by losing the 50/50 and get a standard character to which I'm honestly not stoked about finding out.

Your understanding of that post is right. Capturing radiance gets you the banner 5 star, so your next 5 star is 50/50.

If the last 5 star you got was not the banner character, you are guaranteed to get the banner character for your next 5 star. This is currently the case for OP.

If the last 5 star you got was the banner character, you can then check capturing radiance to see if youre guaranteed or not. This will be the case for OP after getting their next 5 star.

For you, youre in case #2 right now with no guarantee from capturing radiance, meaning you just have a normal 50/50.

Should be, the actual chances are all behind locked doors ofc but from my understanding is you basically get a token ever loss, each one increases your chances it's something like 50/75/87.75/100. I don't think there's ever been a 4th loss in a row.

I will say, do singles by the way because there's a slight chance you get capturing radiance during your guaranteed which would just end up giving you 2 ineffa, rare but it could happen.
