In the end I were like: I thought you had a FREAKING PLAN while jumping into unknown. But it turns out Error failed to say that he came not to kill her, and she failed to talk to him. As tragic as it is, it feels kind of stupid.

She jumped into the moon gage to time travel into the past - before the vinster king met lumine. Tholindis's plan was to kill the abyss twin so the vinster king would never become obsessed with the abyss and stuff. Meaning rerir would've got to live a normal life.

Ouf of all things, I didn't expect to meet a timid Rerir on the "other side". As much as I thought his villain screentime was rather cringy due to the edgelord vibes in it (but he did a good job as a "walking force of destruction"), I can openly admit that these scenes were quite good.

All the Rerir and Tholindis fanatics will probably attack me for saying this but I personally believe this is a fitting conclusion to their love story. Yes, it's most definitely tragic for these two to end up so close yet so far in the end, but also somewhat very good (even beautiful) from a narrative perspective. A love built on lies is never going to end well.
