Edit: I checked, no not same meaning, it is not that you are pleased because someone else is miserable or something

It is just that some things that can be nuisance to some, are beneficial to others. Example in this post: the white login screen is "blinding" to a lot of people. But for the commentor above, it fixed his dead pixels on his screen

FYI, they have dark mode splash screen (at least they have it for pre-6.x) but almost never used it

The "players" of this game hate any improvements to the game.

The skip button is an example. People say that adding it will suddenly make people clueless about lore even through if you think about it for a moment people right now just not pay attention and just spam click.

There're three kinds of players.1:never read 2:never skip 3:has a loose grip of story and may or maynot skip when there's an option of a skip button. If a skip button is added,3 is the part who is affected,not 1,not 2. Are we clear? So stop using 1 as an argument

Why does their loose grip on the story matter to anyone else? Why should that hold back the game from having a skip button for people who skip, those who have completed the story and want a different experience on another account, and those who don't care for world quests.

Or i’ll also be happy with this screen syncing with what the loading screen will be. Like if i open the game in the morning, it can be light mode, but if i open it at sunset or night, it’ll be dark

Chinese people don't feel good about dark mode just like white people don't feel good about light mode. There are many English website with a deafult set of dark mode while there's none such Chinese website. I think that says a lot. And Hoyo happens to be a Chinese company with Chinese devs. Of couse it would be better there could be a toggle that helps people who wish to use dark mode
