Anyone any idea how Support/OffDPS Durin compares with having Emblem vs Hexenzirkel set vs other artifact sets? Wondering if I should bother trying to farm Hexenzirkel on purpose for him, or recycle some Emblem pieces for him, or if there are other similar/better options.

Currently thinking of using hin with Varesa, Iansan on support Natlan set and Chevreuse on Noblese.

hex wins easily cause its a waste to focus on getting more ER than needed to make Emblem worth it
Durin specifically has his own energy gain on skill that you dont want much ER. even less if youre using a second pyro

Which weapon is good for Ineffa got her in 40 pulls and I was preparing for Nuevillete, so I am completely clueless.
I get BP so any weapons from there? Or any craftable one? Also is there any weapon f2p that works on both Flins and Ineffa cause I will pull for him eventually as well.

Deathmatch is better than r5 Nod Krai craftable. Deathmatch works well on Flins too
but until you get Flins, if its a solo electro team like with Neuvillette, you might want Kitain craftable for Ineffa just for the ER needs. if you want the team EM from bursting

lunar charge itself scales on EM
but Flins/ Ineffa passives scale on atk, so thats mostly ranked higher for those two

EM is ok if you get some substats but dont focus too much on it (although some people put her in hyperbloom, more EM then)
i only recommended Kitain, that has an EM substat, for the energy gain passive

Fair about three days ago I was asking who I should pull for after loosing my 50/50 to Mona. I pull ineffa after getting a recommendation since I needed a DPS having not played in years.
I had stopped playing around the time sumeru came out and have most of the standard 5 stars characters excluding mizuki and am catching up on 4stars having just pulled my first chevris on the last banner.

I honestly don't know who I'd want from the upcoming banners as I realized upon coming back that I have nuevllette and the new geo character seems interesting but I'm unsure if I want her. Sorry for the wall of text

thats not much to be called a wall of text
that Ineffa by herself could be used with Neuvillette if you want to
but she actually improves quite a bit used with Columbina, they make a pair so good, you can put them in many teams, preferably not a dendro or cryo dps though
you really wouldnt want a team with both Zibai and Ineffa, but you could put one of them with Aino as the substitute if needed, and the other still would use Columbina.
Zibai with 4 star Illuga though can use some other hydro, like Xingqiu. Aino is still ok. and Columbina is still best

after Columbina, if you dont want Zibai, could try getting c1 Neuvillette(basically you can use two same elements on his team, youd want to avoid that at c0) , and use him together with the Bineffa pair if you want

I have about 6000 Masterless Stardust for shop. But don't know what to spend on. I always get Interwined Fate every month, but should I also get Acuqaint Fate? What else to prioritise, Mora, EXP books? Is it worth saving for anything?

For stardust get both intertwined and acquaint when you can. Dust of Azoth is useful to convert materials

For masterless starglitter save for constellations that you want like Xingqiu/Bennett/Fischl, if not save for pulls

The point of Radiance is that it lets you win that pull, without it you'd have a Qiqi. Afterwards you are back to 50/50, same as a regular win.

You only get double guarantee if you get this order:

50/50 (lose) -> guarantee -> 50/50 (radiance, guarantee)

Your next outcome after that is back to 50/50.

Nope. Radiance just triggered, so that's spent. [Counter goes back to 1](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/1hd1sqa/understanding_genshin_impacts_capturing_radiance/) and it won't affect things until you eventually lose more 50/50s again.

And radiance can only trigger when the normal guarantee is not in effect. So, since it did trigger, you know for sure you don't have that normal guarantee either.

\[Columbina\] \[Ineffa\] … only have Lauma so far

Hi! Sorry this is going to be a long one since the system didn’t let me post and this is the first time I used Reddit so no idea what I did wrong.

I initially only wanted to pull one or two NK characters. I tried to get Ineffa for my Neuvi on her first banner but didnt have the primos to spare. So then I got Lauma because I quite enjoyed hyperbloom in the past. And it really was worth it. Until this patch I got through everything with my previous characters + Lauma.

I was happy enough to skip other NK characters to pull Hexencircle later. So I pulled Durin. Though now with the preview on Varka I am no longer sure whether that was wise or if I want to get him at all. If I dont get him I have some primos to spare for one NK after all.

Now to my problem:

Since this patch I can no longer clear stuff and I kinda like Columbina. Should I pull for her when I only got Lauma? Will that make a difference? And is that a wise investment for the future for a f2p? I mean I dont have anything against Nefer. If she doesn’t rerun with other interesting characters I could maybe pull her. And Columbina enables other lunar reactions so maybe its worth it if I can frankenstein mismatch her with older dps like Varesa or Ningguang if she needs it for mechanics even if its not the best team idea? But hopefully you get the gist of what I‘m saying.

Or should I pull for Ineffa because she by herself seems pretty powerful and enables lunar charged reactions And it looks like having only Columbina without her is not that great? Would make Neuvi more comfortable Though until this patch Lauma has always been enough for him.

Before you tell me to pull both: I have 171 pulls, 38 pity and a guarantee since I lost my last 50/50 in Xilonon banner. But I am saving for Escoffier because I love my Skirk and she deserves to get her BiS after clearing so much with her mismatched 4 star team so far.

Relevant Characters I have and have built mostly well: C1 Neuvi, Furina, Lauma, Varesa, Xianyun, Skirk, C1 Baizhu, Arlecchino, Durin, C1 Mona, C4 Kuki, C6 Bennett, C6 Fischl, C6 Xingqui, C2 Succrose, C2 Chevreuse, C6 Charlotte, C4 Layla, C0 Iansan

(yes, I am aware I should have pulled for more Chevy and Iansan constellations but I honestly got scared when I accidentally got Varesa and Xianyun both when they first launched within 7 single pulls total and didn’t even want them. I was pulling for the 4 stars. Still not happy with Xianyun but at least Varesa became my go to on world explorer even if I dont like using her in other content if not necessary)

then I have most if not all other 4 stars but less well built or not built at all. Also five stars: C1 Keqing, Tighnari, Qiqi, Dehya and now Diluc instead of Xilonon -.- (Btw no one say anything bad about my Keqing. She got me through most content together with Baizhu, XQ and Fischl before Natlan and HP became crazy. It was a sad day when I had to semi-retire her. NK gave her the final death blow)

I am a laid back f2p player and dont chase meta if I dont like the characters (looking at you Mavuika!) but I DO want to include some meta because I like to challenge myself and clear stuff. Until this patch I managed to clear Abyss 36 and some SO gold. Recently cleared my first time IT act 10 with all stars since I finally have enough levelled up characters to qualify.

So do you think I should either pull Ineffa or Columbina? pull Columbina and then Nefer later? Or only Ineffa and wait out the rest of NK? Or wait altogether and see whether Varka really is a disappointment or even wait for Nicole (who is probably BiS Varka?) and Alice (at least I have Durin for her?)?

I‘d really appreciate some help to get my thoughts in order!

Depends what you can't clear and what you want to clear. If you mean dog boss fearless, it's very hard even for those who have characters, and just one Columbina or Ineffa won't change that.
As for abyss it's Cactus and Duck - Neuvillette with electro should clear that. And they are not from this patch, so I assume you can clear them. Sigurd is kinda hard but you can switch teams and 3-star him with Lauma hyperbloom. And not clearing dog you are losing feather.
Ineffa is good off-field, similar to Escoffier, but you pick what you want most, and if you saving for Escoffier, I'd better keep saving for her. Or at least save 160-170 pulls, in case you get spooked by other 5-star you still have guarantee saved.

Best for f2p is save ~500 pulls and wait for full team that will be shilled next time. Just like Natlan team was "must have" to clear Natlan bosses - they are not helping you today. Columbina won't help you to clear Snezhnaya or Celestia or whatever new regions/bosses with millions inflated HP.
Lunar bosses will stay in game roster - and each Nod Krai rerun there will be lunar boss, and having one way or another to deal with them is still good. But how "future proof" is that no idea, 1-2 years while characters are not on chronicle wish.

Columbina+Lauma seems fine, it should be able to handle most Lunar shill stuff with on-field Bina, and it can still enable a lot of fun stuff casually with Bina+Geo or Bina+Electro.

But overall, Ineffa would probably serve you better, good for Neuvi, can work with Varesa, Durin, Arle, your beloved Keqing, etc. And Columbina is guaranteed to rerun sooner, Ineffa we have no guarantee when she'll reappear after this rerun.

So I'd say Columbina if you're more of a for-fun player that would enjoy playing around with Lunar reactions, Ineffa if you do want to focus more on meta. Or just whichever you like more.

For this Stygian rotation, you could try something like;

Bina, Lauma, Sucrose, Aino OR Ineffa, Aino, Sucrose, Mona (depending on which you go for)

Varesa, Durin, Fischl, Chev/Xianyun

Neuvi, Furina, Skirk, Xingqiu/Charlotte OR Neuvi, Furina, Lauma, Kuki

Lanyan C1 vs Gaming C5, who should I choose during the Lantern Rite’s free 4 star selector event?

**Currently, my Gaming is C4 and Lanyan is C0.

If it’s relevant, here are some of similar characters I have.
Pyro DPS: C0R0 Mavuika, C6 Yanfei (only lv70, not properly build)
Shielder: C0R0 Zhongli, C4 Layla, C2 Kirara

Or if it depends on if I have a particular character, please let me know.

I'd say Gaming is not gonna be Fire DPS-ing with Mavuika in your account so Lanyan is the better value. But if you do like and play him most new 4\* has a good power bump at C6 and C5 is one more step there so get him in that case.

I just got my first masterless stella fortuna. I have all limited characters (They are all c0) of all of them who would people reccomend to use it on? Ive seen many people ask similar questions and I know it is a bit of a tricky question but I'm thinking of who would be the most useful in terms of a fairly universal character that benefits from the level increase but can also be in many teams.

Like should I just use it on someone like Columbina since she will be a relevant support for a while? I have Durins weapon so I thought maybe he would be a good choice but I don't know if he actually benefits from it much?

1. Use it on your favourite character. That way even if they go out of 'meta', you'll still play them sometimes because you like them, and thus continue getting value from the Lvl 95.
2. Use it on a DPS. Pure Supports gain barely anything from Lvl 95/100.
3. Use it on a strong DPS. If it's a 5% increase for every character, a DPS that deals 100k personal damage is going to get 5k DPS increase, vs a DPS that deals 50k personal damage getting only 2.5k increase for the same 'cost'.
1. So On-field DPS > Hyperbloom Trigger >= Off-field DPS >>> Support
4. Repeat Step 1, and ignore Step 2 and 3 if you have to.

I have C2R1 Columbia and C0 Ineffa from Nod Krai. I don’t have a single 5 star from Nathan or Fontaine. I’m finding it difficult to clear Stygian menacing stage, what teams would work for me? Or is it just not possible for me?

I have Childe, Zhongli, Kazuha, Raisen, Nahida, Yelan, Scara, Durin, Ganyu, Venti, Hu Tao, Ayaka, Ayato, all standard 5 stars. (Some of them has constellations)

4 stars built - Bennet, Fischl, Xiangling and a few others too.
No my sucrose is still lvl 40, didn’t need her much before…

Sadly m, I lack good dps. Childe and Raiden were enough for me until they got powercrept when I didn’t play the game

I'm struggling with the shield in the first stage of SO. My team is Navia C2R1, Bina C0R0, Aino, and Xilonen C2R0. I don't get anywhere near close to clearing the shield. How can I clear the shield?

Edit: Bina is my only NK 5 star. Am I really cooked at this point?

With attacking the boss you are. Lunar-Crystalize might have no ICD but I doubt you deal enough dmg. Try attacking the chickens instead with a different comp. I did it with Arle, Kazuha, Xilonen and Bennett. For me Kazuha's CC was important.

Oh, it takes a few seconds to get the chickens done. The entire fight took me multiple attempts because I couldn't get a 2nd chicken phase done so the clear was killing the boss fast enough before that.

Dang. I just succeded my first chicken run, but it was the second chicken phase. I start the fight with 0 energy so I don't have enough up for all my Ults to get Mavuika to full energy for the first chicken.

Yeah I still didn't clear but I kinda get it now. Any tips on doing the first chicken phase that spawns in when you have zero energy?

I just tested it out and Rational still clears Abyss in 90s and has no problem with diff 3 Stygian. I believe it's either a build or skill issue on your part.

Chevy Overload and Hyperbloom are obviously also good. I've used both archetypes to clear Fearless several times.

If most/all of the atk from the atk goblet goes toward reaching a total of 2500, then it's generally better. Be sure to check whether this is actually the case under buffs, not just at baseline.

That stuff is always very "hand-wavy" in Genshin... So many stuff (robots, zombies, ghosts, souls, memories, adepti) can be/do whatever without very established rules, mostly depending on what the situation demands or the story wants to convey in that moment.

Why are even the Katherynes (and Sandrone, and Wanderer) so freaking life-like, if they are all robots/constructs? Ineffa is the only one that has some decency in that regard; the rest are indistinguishable from humans... they even wink and have breathing movements/animations (despite not showing breath in Dragonspine).

Well it means there are more maps since normally you have 1 spare assuming the base region is complete. But it is likely like Natlan where it is likely this map is this year's Summer map.

Is this for a Nefer team? The most damage would be to have Lauma on EM sets and Columbina on Silken and someone else on wood, but as long as someone has wood and someone has silken then you are probably fine. If this is for on field Columbina then she gets the sky set. If this is for both off field then it might depend on who the other characters are on the team

Fairly easy, used Mavuika to bruteforce the first boss, used Clorinde EC on the second one and beat the third one with both Mualani and Columbina.

But in general people seem to be finding it hard. The first boss either needs a lunar carry (Columbina, Nefer, Flins) or Mavuika Arlecchino with a grouper. Other characters need sigs or cons to comfortably clear.

And a Hydro DPS is basically a must for the third one, but good off-field hydro app also allows units like Skirk to clear.
Second boss is pretty free though.

Yeah, Fearless. I used Mavuika Citlali Bennett Kazuha, Kazuha>Xilonen/Iansan here since you need to damage all 4 chickens at the same time.
Make sure your Bennett burst is already down and you're on Kazuha when the chickens spawn to give yourself as much time to clear them as possible. Aside from that just normal Mavuika rotations. I used both C3F and CDC depending on whether Mavuika or Citlali hit the dog first after the shield goes down. Was fairly easy but my Mavuika is also well built.

For d5, I try to do each rotation without the characters that are on banner during that patch or available during the region that we are in. It took me a bit to figure out a good method for beating the dog with these restrictions and in a way that wouldn’t mess with my team building for other bosses. The shock trooper we have seen before so I knew how to beat it. The crab I was lucky to have a hydro damage dealer (Mualani), but without that I am not sure what strategy I would have used.

Clear with self made restrictions was (340 seconds) Arle/Kaz/Xilo/Ben (8), Clor/Chev/Iansan/Mav (5), Mualani/Furina/Escoffier/Citalli (5).

The reason that the dog took so long for me to figure out (spoiler as this is just yapping and if you want to personally try to figure out on your own) >!was that it was really easy to overkill with two Mav bursts. In a perfect world, I could kill the dogs with one mav burst+her combo and then land the next one on the main boss. With Melt it was “possible” if I also did fall damage to the summons and melted all of them, but getting it consistently twice was annoying. The timing of the absorption was also annoying as it was pretty short to do two rotations. So having a team that has decent aoe, enough damage to kill the summons but not overkill, able to slot in Kazuha, and then either enough damage to kill it outright before the second summon or able to consistently do second wave was tough. My Arle does less damage than my Mav, but having more flexible rotations and team building allowed her to hit those requirements and the damage breakpoints!<

These were the first successful runs that I tried and was planning to come back without restrictions and go for time. My current fastest is (272 seconds) with Nefer/Nahida/Columbina/Lauma (5), Clor/Yelan/Sucrose/Ineffa (6), and the same Mualani team but better rng. I don’t think I will be able to clear dire this rotation but I might be able to get one of the bosses.

HU Tao is the best of the lot(unless youre using her with Xianyun)(or you want to run Ganyu with Escoffier later) and would be good with that Bineffa wheelchair, yes
Arle double hydro has no point(doesnt apply a lot of pyro and doesnt benefit from double hydro), try overload with that Durin and Fischl instead
and let Hu Tao be in the Bina Ineffa team with Yelan

Lunar-Bloom is a little bit weirdly designed:

\- The Lunar-Bloom reaction does nothing damage wise, it just generate the "Moon charges" that the Lunar-Bloom DPS (and Lauma) uses for their kit. Otherwise the Bloom core are just your regular Dendro core and the damage is calculated the regular Dendro way and they are **not** Lunar reactions.

\- Nefer, Lauma, Columbina deals direct Lunar-Bloom damage and that is what actually being buffed.

Well Aino except C6 is just an NK Artifact holder, Moonsign enabler and off-field Hydro which Bina does all of with actual buffing and solid personal damage.

But yeah the actual support for the sub-Lunar-archetype is higher than her priority wise in team building.

Yes, Columbina is less of an upgrade than Lauma to Nefer and Ineffa to Flins.

For Flins/Ineffa she is just a plain dps increase. A solid one, but you're not going to play the team any differently beyond freedom from Aino burst *circle impact*.

For Nefer/Lauma, the extra moonridge dew are a bit more tangible as they allow Nefer to blow through E3C E3C back to back, whereas otherwise you would have to be mindful to insert some delay between them. Imo, there's plenty of ways to do that delay in a way that doesn't feel particularly cringe. But if you value the more straightforward execution, it is an added benefit.

All in all, very skippable if you don't particularly feel like investing more in these teams. I got her, and she's good, but she is a luxury.

I cannot beat the Emperor of Fire and Iron on Menacing. No matter what I do. I did the first two sections easily, but I am stuck on the last one. Furina is tied up with my premium Skirk team for the second boss, and I used Nefer, Lauma, Columbina and Kuki for the first one. For the third one I have Neuvillette, Xilonen, Xinqui and Yelan- and while I get the horns down easy I couldn’t get enough DPS to clear it. My Neuvillette is built well too. I have at my disposal, Mualani, Citlali, Mauvika, Bennett, Raiden, Xianyun, Sucrose, Lan Yan, Yae and Nahida. I cannot for the life of me get this crab down past 1/3 health. Help please.

I would try use Mavuika against shock trooper, so Furina is spared for the crab. Or, how much worse if your Skirk use Yelan/Xingqiu but not Furina. Neuvillette's CA cannot trigger Yelan/Xingqiu, but Skirk's NA can do so.

You're basically relying on Neuvillette and Xilonen to duo this. While Xingqiu and Yelan will make horn breaking easier, their bursts don't trigger from charged attacks (Neuvillette's main source of damage).

Try Neuvillette Xilonen Miko Lanyan. Yes horn breaking will take a bit longer but just aim up

The damage increase from C0 to C1 Neuvillette can potentially be higher (depending on the teams you use) than the increase from C0 to C1 Zibai. But, assuming neutral and non-shilling content, Zibai is a stronger DPS than Neuvillette. So, if it were me, I would just pull for the character that I would use the most between the two, edit: but leaning more towards Zibai because her start line is ahead of Neuvillette.

If you have already done a lot of chest farming probably quests, but otherwise it's probably chests. The problem is it's not like you are going to be able to farm enough exp a day to like level your weapon from level 80 to 90. This is probably okay for leveling weapons at lower levels.

I'm trying to understand Lunar Charged. I just pulled Ineffa and planning to run her with Chasca and Aino. Aino is really just there so I have Ascendant Gleam for Ineffa's Aubade set.
But the calculation for LC is quite confusing. As I see only the two top dmg contributors matter. But ATK doesn't contribute anything to it? Only EM and Crit matters? So, if I'm causing reaction using just chasca, but she doesn't have high EM, she will barely do any LC damage?

Honestly, you can mostly just ignore the Lunar-charge reaction damage. Build your characters for their personal DPS and you'll get some bonus LC reaction damage, but it's not high enough to prioritize building around.

Of course for characters that have direct Lunar-charge damage in their kit, you'll be building the same stats they'd want for Lunar reaction damage anyway.

The issue you're having is there is the basic lunar charge damage (which is calculated based on all the characters that apply electro and hydro) and there is Ineffa's A1 passive. This passive scales on Ineffa's atk and is considered lunar charge damage. It also ignores def on the enemy. For constellations, C2 and C6 also provide additional lunar charge reactions that are based on Ineffa's atk.

One of the other commenters suspected as much and that's a great example of why it's important to write the context of your question. Since you don't start with Energy in SO and the boss enters shield phase right away, Xilonen could be better than Bennett because she generates Fighting Spirit for Mavuika right away and can use a second Favonius sword (assuming you have one), generating more team energy so that Citlali gets her first burst faster. Depending on your energy situation and the time constraint you have to kill the adds, the time lost building characters to their first bursts with Bennett may not make up for the better DPS once you eventually get your rotation going.

All of these problems are SO specific so they won't be addressed in general advice where you start with full energy. Its not something you can really put a number on until you know the best possible rotation that funnels particles in the best way that makes the best use of the ER gear you actually have.

Between Kazuha, Citlali, and Bennett funneling particles into Citlali, the burst is already up by the time the chickens spawn. I've been a childe main since his first banner and have unsuccessfully mained him since however his damage is as we know bad, im just struggling to decide between columbina or ineffa as ineffa would be better for.
I mainly use flins and Neuvillette so in thinking ineffa would be better however I think columbina would also be a good choice as shes very versatile and would be good for my occasional kinich team whenever I can be bothered to build him properly and also future characters.

I love columbina alot and would be willing to whale for her however I do like ineffa just not as much and think it would be smarter to get her.

LP and Widsith are not far apart, if you consider more than one rotation. Widsith gives the occasional higher number, LPs movement speed is nice though

No, Lauma is better value as it'll make Nefer team reach sufficient damage for future when the Lunar shill ends. Ineffa is usable in other teams. And if you're needing 2 teams, Bina Ineffa and Nefer Lauma are much much better cores than Flins Ineffa and Nefer Aino.

Yes. I have a C1 Flins with no Ineffa and he's able to clear fatui guy in stygian fearless with Aino without issues. Also clears abyss easily. In case you need both Nefer and Flins teams, Flins with Ineffa will be fine without Columbina

Whose Constellation should I select ?

I've already ruled out Dehya C2, Tighnari C2, Itto C2, Xiao C1, Keqing C6, Qiqi C6, Diluc C2 and Jean C5. (and I've got Nilou C2 last time)

The "easy" choice would be Mona C1, but I know I'l get it *eventually* by loosing a 50/50 and would rather choose a limited character. I have the following, all at C0: Baizhu, Wanderer, Cyno, Ayato, Kokomi, Ayaka and Eula.

If you want to use Mona, you want to eventually reach C4. So I'd still pick Mona. I can't offer any insight on the other options except for Baizhu C1, which is just a nice-to-have.

I thought about overload team.

Arlecchino, fischl, Chevruse, bennet.

Pretty basic team. Although i got fischl c6, with her hexerei buff that gives something around 40 something atk%. But id need another hexerei character. I have only mona and sucrose, no durin sadly.

So i was wondering. Is it better to leave that team as it is now or switch bennet to either mona or sucose for that buff at the cost of Chevruse's 40% res shred. Any thoughts?

Uh... you just mean a lunar team? Zibai is Lunar-Crystallize, not lunar charged.

If you want Ineffa, this is probably the best time to try for her - she's probably not going to be back for a year or so. She and Columbina make one of the best wheelchair duos in the game. If you're looking for an all around flexible pair, get Ineffa for Columbina. If you are looking for the strongest raw damage you can get, pull for Zibai.

Zibai is a lunar crystalize dps, not lunar charged
you literally pick the team you want
you can add Columbina Ineffa to other dps you have
while Zibai really wants her own dedicated team. typically Bina/Aino, Illuga and flex last slot thats typically some other geo like Gorou or Zhongli, although you could add other stuff too

Not directly since Bennett only buff on field character's ATK.

Both Flins and Ineffa are ATK-scaling characters and their direct lunar-charged damage count their ATK, so technically Bennett can let Flins/on field Ineffa do more direct lunar-charged damage as long as his pyro does not mess up the reaction. Be aware that when Ineffa remains off field, she does not receive Bennett's ATK buff except noblesse set. Columbina's direct lunar-charged damage from her skill is HP scaling, so Bennett is useless for her. Reaction lunar-charged damage does not count contributors' ATK and Bennett has no use for that.

For lunar-bloom, the direct lunar-bloom of Nefer and Lauma are both EM scaling, and Columbina is HP scaling, so Bennett has no use. Lunar-bloom reaction itself does not do any damage.

For lunar-crystallize, it is similar as lunar-charged. If there is any on field character whose direct lunar-crystallize attack is ATK-scaling, Bennett can let him do more damage. If they are DEF/HP/EM scaling or they remains off field most of time, Bennett does not do anything. Columbina's lunar-crystallize from her skill is HP scaling, and >!Zibai is DEF scaling. !<Also same as lunar-charged, Bennett does not affect reaction lunar-crystallize.

Should I pull Columbina?

Sitting at ~70 pity and guaranteed. I have no other Nod Krai units and don't plan to get Ineffa or Lauma in the future so I'm not sure it's worth it.
But I could put her in a Navia, Furina, Xilonen team.

Will all this Lunar reaction stuff even be much of a thing after version 6 though? I've already 100% most of Nod Krai so it just feels a bit late and a waste to get someone from there atp.

No, and no. I think it is possible that they release another lunar 5* before version ends, but that's likely it.

But SO will likely shill lunar every time one of the lunar 5* reruns.

If you don't want to pull for a lunar team, then just wait and pull for whatever meta team is next. Given the current state of the game, my suggestion is that you pull for a full team and not individual characters.

The reason is I haven't seen a recent posts without C1+. I have not seen 4 star weapons at all. I haven't seen less than C2+ Mona's. So I'm wondering if spending all this time building her is better spent just saving primos for the next "lunar reactions" meta? I'm not against this, as a previous Raiden C2 main, I've had to bury mine before.

There isn't one. It is largely depends on teams and main dps. Noblesse, tenacity, cinder city, VV and instructor are all options, also deepwood if you do dendro damage, silken moon if you have Nod Krai main dps, but they all could be useless if your main dps is not affected by their buff.

For example, Furina's best artifact in Skirk's team is tenacity, but it is useless in Neuvilltte's team. Xilonen prefers cinder city in a lot of teams, but if she is used in Mavuika's team with Citlali who also prefers cinder city, their pyro damage buff from two cinder city does not stack.

Golden troupe or MH, if you have furina, mh will work for a lot of dps and GD is just best in slot or second best in slot for sub dps characters. VV is always a top choice. Gilded dreams is second best for a lot of newer damage dealers since they can make use of em buff.

Any tip on defeating the abyss dog on chamber one in menacing? I've tried Columbina, nahida, lauma and kuki team but I can barely dent it's shield. I'm using ineffa on second chamber so can't switch out to her. I can take out neuvi or kazuha from 3rd chamber if that can help. C0R1 Mavuika C0 Citlali Bennett and C2R1 Xilonen hit 110k with spin-to-win charged attacks. C6R1 Navia C1R1 Chiori C0 Ineffa C0 Bina had much bigger spikes (as you'd expect from Navia), but evened out to 105k while waiting for the recharge.

Using Navia/Chiori with Furina/Xianyun was 95k DPS.

Have you seen much Zibai gameplay? Does her combat style appeal to you? As an on-field DPS, that matters more than anything whether you should go for her. Ineffa at least is an off-field unit, so even if you end up hating her, you can just use E and see her only 1 second at a time. And she's more useful if you main an Electro (or even Hydro or Anemo) DPS that you wish was meta again.

I mean, the reaction itself doesn't have to be good, she counts as Lunar so she works for all Lunar shill, and Zibai+Bina is still on par for the highest DPS teams in the game at C0. Though if you don't have Zhongli or Xilonen, lacking Geo shred options could certainly impact her versatility. But yeah, Ineffa is definitely the safer choice, since Zibai is also more likely (not guaranteed) to have her first rerun before Ineffa's second.

Some other specific support character for zibai that will end up being needed for something. Like nefer/lauma. It’s kind of cool because it has made some of my less meta but fun characters really usable

Illuga is that 'other character', and he's a 4* on her banner, so it's not like you have to go out of your way to pull for him. (Unless you get real back 4* luck.) Gorou and Aino are also the better 4* options for the 4th slot (especially at C6) so same deal.

Kinda yes, kinda no. If you don't get C2 at least, he can't use Silken with full uptime, and there's not really any other set he can use to buff Zibai. And at C6 his buffs do increase to be much better, but he's still not *that* much better than other 5* Geo units in his slot, as long as you have Columbina/Aino for the Moonsign if you ditch him.

Probably a scaling issue with your monitor.

Check the window's display setting if the scale and resolution are correct. And maybe try changing DPI scaling to match the system under the compatibility settings on the launchers executable.

flins does the majority of the damage in this team, the best investment here is pretty much always going to be on flins.

if you get neither's signature just get shovel on ineffa and jade spear or skyward on flins

All else being equal, I've heard Ineffa does more damage than Flins in a Flins team. Ineffa's signature weapon buffs the whole team so it will improve Flins' dmg directly.

She certainly doesn't do MORE damage in a Flins team unless her build is just better, but pretty much the same damage, sure.

When it comes to vertical investment, Flins as a DPS gets bigger increases for the same 'cost', but Ineffa does buff the whole team so in a team with Columbina as well, her cons/sig aren't too far behind Flins'.

I've gotta ask, legitimately curious, what's the actual deal with the 1st boss? Can anyone actually kill the chickens to break the shield that way? I can't even kill those things on Menacing difficulty. I've went at them with Skirk, Mauvika, Mualani, Navia, Clorinde/Nahida, and even used crowd control to suck them close to the main boss to see how much damage they take from Columbina/Flins squad. They're at half health at best, but usually not even that by the time the main boss does the big attack.

Is there any viable Lunar bloom/Lauma teams for it? I popped in what I used for the hermit crab boss before, but the shield bar for the main boss was shrinking so slow, it seemed like it'd never work. Or does it only work with Nefer? My flins can get through it, but it still takes almost 2 full rotations for him (5 e-qs, then I get the last one in on the stunned boss). The shield seems really inconsistent though, as if I'm just missing damage in a lot of runs.

Against the small summons I have heard people have the most success with a Mav melt team. I used a mono Arle team and it was able to clear, but ymmv. I also watched a skirk clear of it earlier where they push two of the summons into the big one and break it that way.

If you have lunar then ignore the chickens and damage the dog directly to remove the shield since lunar does 3x damage to shield. If you dont have lunar then kill the chickens since they need less damage to take down shield.

No, it goes to the wearer. Also, Flins doesn't care about electro damage bonus anyway since the bulk of his damage is reaction damage. He wants atk% since his skills scale off of atk.

Whoever you play more. Xiao and Mona C1 are the better ones. Wanderer and Ayaka C2 are not bad if you like them and would want pull for a constellation, but giving the gap between modern main DPS characters it's better to pull someone like Skirk or Varka or any other upcoming characters than their constellation.

in general, which is better to make a character more tanky, a DEF% sands/substat or an HP% sands/substat. ignoring whats optimal for the character. I know base stats matter in the conversion, so im trying to ask and see if theres any info out there before i go around testing myself

ive felt that way for a while, but how do you know for certain? does DEF not reduce damage taken enough to make it worth over just adding more HP even on a low Base HP character?

Today is stella fortuna pay day. Between raising Mona to C6 and Tighnari to C5, which way should I go? Tighnari has no 5-star weapon and his artifacts are kinda meh, got only 155 cdmg and 70-something crit rate. Mona has widsith and I am thinking of rebuilding her to Noblesse set.

and c6 Mona isnt quite relevant if yorue gonna put Noblesse on her. it improves her onfield dps.
but reaching one c6, id prioritise that

It's Varesa's theme from her character trailer. Stellar Moments albums are all songs used in character promotional materials. They aren't typically used in game except for rare moments.

So I just did the DPS check in Miliastra and I was humbled that my 2 main teams Flins and Mavuika could barely crack 70k+ DPS! I followed their standard rotation, have most of them on golden artifacts and leveled talents so it was a shock to me to see their damage. I honestly thought they would reach 100k+ at minimum

I can address at least the low hanging fruit for some of it.

For Flins, you need to level your burst talent to 10 and get more crit. Ideally, you would have more energy recharge as well. Your artifacts are at an ok starting point, but you really need to keep farming to get better ones. Most of the rolls went into the wrong stats and all of them are 3-liners (which means one less roll and not worth using a feather on to reroll.) EM just isn't nearly as important as attack and crit stats. You should aim to get as close to 70% crit rate as you can so you'll hit 100% with the artifact bonus. Also, getting more crit damage is important too.

Another way to get more damage for that team is to put Columbina on Silken and Ineffa on Aubade. Ineffa does more damage so she should get the Aubade and Columbina want's the ER from Silken's 2 piece passive. Columbina needs around 160%-170% ER when she's using Prototype Amber.

For Mavuika, the crit rate is way too low. Since she deals most of her damage in one big burst, you want to make sure that damage is a crit. Aim for as close to 60% before the artifact bonus. You should also switch your attack sands to an EM one. Wolf's Gravestone gives a ton of attack already along with Bennett so it becomes oversaturated. EM is really important to get more damage with melt so you should aim for 200-300, which shouldn't be too hard with an EM sands.

Citlali also needs way more ER. She should have around 200%, if not more, so she can burst every rotation. This allows you to melt every Mavuika burst. She should have an ER sands, an EM goblet, and an EM Circlet. In a Mavuika team, she doesn't really contribute to the teams damage and is more of a buffer by applying cryo so you don't need to worry about crit stats. Looking for ER and EM are the most important stats for Citlali in a Mavuika team.

Already exchanged my ineffa and bina sets. Got bina to 140+ ER and will be farming for great sets for them.

My Mav is now 60% crit rate with 160+ crit damage. Also made her EM sands. Will also try to learn the proper rotations. My citlali will need a lot of work if the 200% er is needed can only get 160% and made her EM main stats.

I just got columbina as my first nod krai character ( i know ineffa will not rerun anytime soon, but i didn't like the gameplay ), and i was wondering if she works well with all nod krai characters in theory? I plan to pull for nicole or sandrone next and i was wondering about that

While we don't know what Nicole's kit would be, she would likely not work that well with Columbina unfortunately. There's no lunar vape as of now and Nicole would more likely work in Hex teams like Durin did.

Sandrone if playable might be able to, but that is even further away to be able to be speculated accurately.

She works well with *5-star* Nod Krai characters (Lauma needs more cons to be competitive), not really well with 4-star. We know nothing about Nicole and Sandrone's kit so far, though Nicole is a Hexen characters to start with.

I’m basically asking if I should keep saving and wait for zibai, or pull for ineffas weapon and risk losing that 50/50. What should I pull for?

I'd save.

Definitely don't gamble on weapons. 37.5% win rate + expiring fate point = most likely wasting pulls if you try without enough to guarantee.

When wriothesly first came out I pulled him and only after the fact I saw that without his C1 he's bad, and everyone was saying don't bother building him if you don't have C1.
Is that still the case? Or can I max him out at C0 and still have decent damage?

I got Ineffa on present banner and I'm building her, I also have Columbina and nefer, I'm using Ineffa on lunar-charged with Ineffa/Bina/Fischl/Sucrose or with Nefer/Nahida/Bina/Ineffa

I presently have my Ineffa with R3 Prospector's Shovel(lvl 70 I'll level it up) with 4pc Guilded dreams, but I also have R5 Missive spear(lvl 20, if needed I'll level it up to 90) from event

and I'm thinking of putting Ineffa on 4pc Aubade of morningstar

1.so I'm wondering is Prospector's Shovel gonna be good with AoMM or is it gonna give diminished returns because both weapon(R3- 36% and R5- 48%) and artifact set (20%+40%) give lunar-charged dmg bonus so is missive spear(atk% 24 & 96 EM) gonna be upgrade on Prospector's Shovel

2.does passive of Missive spear auto triggers on off-field reactions also or is it gonna gives buffs only for 10 ses in rotation, it doesn't say any cool down on buff or on/off-field requirement on weapon description.

3. Is AoMM better than Guilded dreams if yes then how much of an upgrade it is?

Shovel is better than Missive.
diminishing returns is not something you need to think of in this case. there are no diminishing returns, its just about a mix of stats being better than just one stat being very high.
you will get other stats with the artifact stats
Missive does not trigger off field

got no numbers but unless your Columbina is more invested than Ineffa
then you want Bina on SMS, and Ineffa on Aubade

both Gilded and Aubade are kind of useless if using Ineffa on Nefer team though.

Bina, ineffa both are C0R0, Bina is on SMS and her build is pretty solid for my standards (41k+ hp with proto, CR:CDMG 63.1:175.9 and ER is 167.9 and I'm bursting comfortably in every rotation)

if youre using Ineffa on Nefer team, the only thing you care about is shield strength
the exact same atk/atk/crit as normal
and set choice wont matter. cause Ineffa cant cause lunar charges without clouds and dendro stops them.

you tend to play Ineffa with dendro for some hyperbloom teams. thats different from a Nefer team
