Its the same on other characters as well, you can b hop even after running out of stamina. It just looks smoother on columbina

Not quite the same since in this scenario Columbina keeps sprinting for a bit instead of returning to normal running when you stop jumping/don't maintain momentum on other characters while b-hopping.

I think this was used early day as a way of slope climbing faster. Only worked on some slopes though
