While I like the new Lumine skin, I still prefer the older one design-wise. But the higher resolution and quality of the new one makes it overall better. I really wish they'd just update the older model too. Even better would be to update everyone's models.

Hot take, i think while Genshin art became more polished, they slowly lost their personality. The twins' older art is way more stylized and looks like art while the new one looks like they took a snapshot of the 3d models for an ad. The first poster with Jean, Diluc, Venti falling through the sky looked much more dynamic than arts do now. There was a difference between 2d and 3d and now it's slowly lost.

However, the rough edges on the old skin is starting to look real jarring next to new characters.
So I keep switching back and forth, can't really make a decision.

I think it's something we just have to get used to. I'm not a fan of how formal it looks, it looks like an outfit for a ballroom dance or a dinner party, not something you go around saving the world in.
But I supposed I'm just not used to it, and thus is critical about it.

Yeah, the free skins are great, don't get me wrong, but an update to the original model is so needed. Unless they plan to just retire the original model from all future content, it doesn't solve the issue with how jarring Traveler looks next to newer characters.

It's too early to say - but I wouldn't be at all surprised if future promotional material uses the new outfits, considering they were obtained as part of the game's main storyline.

It is very hard to say which one of Lumine's outfits is better. The new one is more detailed and gives a more noble, princess vibe. The old one, imo, has better color palette and better skirt outline.
