Best characters w Columbina?

I don’t have that many characters since I took a long break from the game, but according to my character list, what could do? 😥 I have no idea what goes well with the lunar thingy or what it does. ( I’m willing to build characters)

Columbina is the premium lunar reactions character. Hydro + Electro = Lunar Charged, Hydro + Dendro = Lunar Bloom, and Hydro + Geo = Lunar Crystallize. Lunar bloom is really hard to use without premium units so I'd recommend looking at the other two reactions. Zhongli for lunar crystallize, for example, raise Fischl and Sucrose for lunar charged, as some examples. Please note that Kazuha's main buff is that he buffs dmg%, which lunar reactions DON"T scale with, which is why Sucrose is usually used with her, but you can use Kazuha if you are willing to accept that he isn't buffing her as much, if you don't want to raise Sucrose. Also Sucrose and Fischl (and Albedo, as an aside lol) were all buffed last patch, they are considered "hexerei" units now and after you do a short quest they each unlock and extra passive that is active when 2 "hexerei" units are on the team.

If you still have pulls and aren't saving for an upcoming unit, I'd highly highly recommend trying for Ineffa, if you're looking for meta pull targets to bring your account up to date. Ineffa + Columbina have strong synergy damage and team-building flexibility, and they'll be strong enough to single-handedly carry your account for months through a lot of hard content. good luck with it!

I finally got Columbina after 79 pulls, hardly expected it, especially since I just started playing again last month after basically two years. Ineffa’s banner is up right now, but I’m not sure I’ll have enough time or primos to farm her 🥲 Are there any other characters with similar effects that I could pull for that are upcoming, or do you think it’s worth saving for her next banner, if she even comes back, who knows how long that could take.. Thanks so much for all the info you gave me tho, it really helps! I am thinking of building albedo and sucrose eventually :))

Ineffa is one of the most flexible option, but there are gonna be more lunar units (the lunar crystallize premium character is coming next banner, for example), so if you miss her don't worry you can try for someone else. Just know that in order for Bina to use her full kit, she will need a second Nod Krai character, so either one of the premium ones, or you can fetch your free Aino from the Archon Quest in Nod Krai. You can quick start to get her early if you aren't caught up with the story yet. This is also beneficial because if you do the Nod Krai quest first and complete to the latest chapter before this patch ends, you get a limited time bonus reward of 500 primos plus some mats to help you build Columbina. The quest with the bonus primos is on the events tab in game. The downside is that some quests won't make sense since it'll reference things that happen especially in Sumeru and Mondstadt that you likely missed. Aino is the easiest since she's given for free but other Nod Krai 4\*'s that are currently released are Jahoda and next banner we'll get Illuga who will run as a featured 4\* next to Zibai, the premium lunar crystallize character, both of which can activate Columbina's full kit as well.

Hmmm, so you don’t have many other lunar characters. You might want to consider pulling for Ineffa to use with Columbina and Childe or even Hu Tao in a lunar charge or overvape team.

The next banner features a new DPS called Zibai who would work great with Columbina, Zhongli and Illuga (a new 4 star who will be on the same banner) or Gorou. You could also in the mean time even try lunar crystalise with just Zhongli and Ningguang with Columbina. I’m not familiar enough with Albedo enough to know if he works in lunar crystalise teams.

I haven’t tried it yet but you could also try Columbina with Nilou in a lunar bloom team but you’re missing Lauma or any more consistent off field dendro.

I would level up your Columbina to max level first and get sucrose, Fischl, and aino leveled up. They’re great supports in this meta. Aino specifically for lunar charged teams.

Could use albedo, Fischl or Aino, Columbina, Zhong li for a decent lunar crystallize team

Or swap out a Zhong li for another hexenzirkel character like Razor, could use lunar charged team
