So how likely is it that the remaining 28% is the summer expansion?

Do you guys think it will be like Natlan where we got the permanent summer expansion, or do you think we'll get just another area to get to 100% and the summer event will just be another limited time area?

My hope is a new area to the NW that includes the remains of [Hyperborea](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Hyperborea).

My copium: a \*permanent\* release of a new version of [Golden Apple Archipelago](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Golden_Apple_Archipelago) to the NE of Mondstadt where the older events can also be accessed. Prehaps even take a boat from [Dornman Port ](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Dornman_Port)to there.

permanent summer expansion: very likely to happen.

but i seriously doubt it will be in Nod Krai. In fact, i'm way more inclined to believe that Dornman Port is the summer expansion, leading us into shneznaya.

Might be wrong, of course. During Fontaine they did a Liyue expansion in between Fontaine Expansions, so you never know.

I thought in the latest archon quest >!Alice and the other witches said they were too busy to do a summer vacation!<, if we don't get one maybe they release Dornman Port and make a summer themed archon quest there instead.

Yeah but since nod krai is still only at 72%, it means we must get at least 1 more map expansion, be it either a summer map or just another normal island

Still 5 more versions to go (Since Luna IV is 6.3). Plenty of time to add more map expansions

Unfortunately, Version 5.X had only 4 permanent map expansions (V5.0, V5.2, V5.5, and V5.8). The previous Version 4.X had 6 maps (V4.0, V4.1, V4.2, V4.4, V4.6, and V4.8 (temporary)).

At minimum, I am expecting 4 permanent map expansion, and hoping for one more for 5.
