Australian players, I have found the solution for terrible ping

First off, I'm playing on Asia server, but I think that probably doesn't matter. I'm also playing on Windows PC but it looks like the solution works for multiple platforms.

Genshin ping is always pretty bad in Australia but recently it's been extra terrible, getting up to 400 ms with 2 second delays between character switches. So as you can imagine, fearless Stygian was feeling pretty awful this time around.

However I managed to discover this desktop app [https://one.one.one.one/](https://one.one.one.one/) , which after installing, pops up in your system tray. When I turned it on from there, my ping went down to \~195 ms, which was shocking as I'd never seen anything below 'red' ping in Genshin before. Character switching is near instant now and I'm not experiencing delays when picking up items, etc. It feels silky smooth, at least relative to how it did before.

Anyway, apologies for the advertisement-sounding post. But I've been searching for a solution to the ping problem for a while now, and now that I've found it, I really wanted others to hear about it too. Happy long weekend!

I'm in Aus and my ping is around 145ms. which, not going to say amazing, but genshin plays fine for me. but absolutely understand the woes of high ping from this country haha. Which ISP are you with, just curious.

We're with optus which is notoriously terrible lol, but with this it's at least playable

Yeah fair enough. I've always been with Aussie BB (and off-shoot Buddy Telco) ever since I started playing this game so I don't have experience if other ISPs might handle it better or not.
