Would it be too late to start a Genshin YouTube channel in 2026?
I have been planning on starting one since 2022, but I kept procrastinating and delaying it, which obviously isn't getting anything done. Now I feel like I would have done better if I did start earlier, but I really don't want to let that discourage me, either.
I know thousands of other channels exist, and I don't expect to even get a thousand subscribers. But I'd still love to try.
Any tips or motivational speeches you could give me? I never expected to have posted way more on Reddit than I ever have on YouTube (YT being 0)
I do need to give my ID to YouTube in order to do this though, which is the bad thing. I don't want to give up on this idea, but people make it sound like your whole life is screwed if you give your ID to YouTube. So I'm torn.

And there's definitely still people on the look out for new YouTubers playing the games they love! I've also had a lot of people tell me they like putting videos on in the background when they're playing, too, so even just silly commentary while exploring has a niche!
But I'd say it'd be a good idea to think about what kind of content you want to make. Having a focus means your subscribers will know what to expect from you! Like, I know whenever I post videos focusing on my main account instead of my challenge account, the viewership tends to be lower. Unless it's a character pulling video. Those ones almost always do pretty well. 😂
