OMG RIP Bill Kametz. You will be missed!

Started a Alt Acc a few months (8 months ago) to play the story again on my free time. What I had forgotten was the man, the myth, the GOAT Billy Kametz voiced Li Ding in the Liyue story quest all those years ago. This made me cry as I was a huge fan of his and if I ever saved the money to make it to a Con, I wanted to meet him and get his autograph. He was one of the best VAs in my opinion and I wished he got a role as a playable character in Genshin. Sadly that will never happen, but he will be missed.

It’s been over three and a half years, and I still miss him. 🥺

I miss him bad this was one of the few celeb deaths that really got me cuz not a single person has ever had something bad to say about him. I hope Erica is doing okay…

I remember the day he stepped down from 86 due to his condition and Alek stepping in 2 episodes away from a materclass conclusion and Billy was taken from the world too soon. Slightly off topic, but he was the one person I wanted the most to voice Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling.... but I really appreciate all those that stepped up to do his unfinished roles honor, such as Alek Le and Stephen Fu. RIP Billy

Gosh I miss him. I remember he was dating Chevreuse's VA up until his passing and she had a picture of them pinned on her Twitter timeline for about a year.

He was also pretty close friends with Cyno’s VA. Not-so-fun fact: when Alejandro Saab was voicing Akihiko during the funeral scene in Persona 3 Re:Load, he said he tried to deliver the appropriate emotions by channeling the grief and sadness he felt when he learned about Billy’s passing.

Oh god. I'm playing through P3R right now, so knowing that is going to make later events much worse.
