Kinda having a dilemma

I originally wanted to wait for Chasca's rerun to get her c6r1, I don't have her. I also now want to get c2r1 Columbina and Ineffa, I don't have either. I want to get them because I find lunar reactions cool, and I also find Chasca cool.

But I find Chasca much cooler but what's equalising these 2 options is the massive wait for Chasca which will probably be like 5-8 months or something.

The reason I want a minimum of C2 or C6 in general is so I can just have some characters that feel strong and characters I can use for a long time without worrying about them losing relevance later.

If I get Ineffa and Columbina I wont be able to get Chasca c6'd.

If it helps with the decision, I rarely wish and I get welkin. I currently have 600 wishes saved up, with starglitter thats probably like 680. Currently sitting at 50 pity with a guarantee.

I want good arguments for why or why not I should just pull in this current banner. I don't think I'll have regrets with either option

I guess both, I kinda want a stupidly strong character that can blast things with 4 different elements that can also provide the convenience of flying everywhere

im afraid even c6 characters can get shafted with the way the game shilling works

you dont have to have c6 character to stay relevant you just need to get the team upgrade and know when to play and when to not play the character

as someone who play xiao in almost every abyss since his first banner i did that with c0 xiao today i managed to get his c1 and i dont even have PJWS cause standard banner never dropped it so i use sheneh weapon on him

i think the general conscience is to go for who you like but also not neglect others for that 1 character you want

you can save up but still you can settle for lower cons and get that 1 character you want to c6 over time

From purely account value perspective, probably not the best idea to c6 a 1-2 year old unit. Surely chaska is probably one of the best characters to c6, but there's probably going to be like another 2-3 meta shifts by the time she reruns. Probably better to c6 a more recent unit if you want a stupidly strong character that stays relevant for longer.

how much value do you think you'd get out of columbina and ineffa? do you have flins or lauma+nefer? what about zibai, are you going to pull her?

if you don't have any nod krai characters, maybe getting c0 columbina to cover a lot of the gimmicks could be worth it, but you probably wont run her in any teams without a nod krai attacker

c2r1 columbina + c2r1 ineffa would provide a decent wheelchair for a lot of units, but i'd say the cost efficiency is not great. most c2r1 colombina + c2r1 ineffa + two older unit teams would probably lose out to the top5 meta c0r1 teams in terms of dps

You bring some really good arguments but I feel like any strong nod-krai, natlan or late-fontaine characters at high constellations arent really going to lose relevancy or strength. It looks like it plateau'd honestly since most Natlan characters are still looking on par with Nod-Krai characters.

And to answer your questions; no I haven't pulled flins, nefer or lauma. I probably will pull zibai though if I get ineffa and columbina since that would mean I've committed into Lunar reactions.

I think i can probably run columbina in plenty of teams if I run her with ineffa, zibai or any dendro like nahida honestly.

Currently c6 chaska with her optimal team also at c2 she can dish out like 350-400k dps in dire, so yeah she should be strong enough to get good clear times even when mostly ignoring the gimmicks. But with every nation there's some dozens of thousands of dps inflation going on, and meta c2r1 teams are already closing in on her dps output.

I mean, no one is going to argue that she's a terrible c6 pull, but at least personally I think the inflation is at the level that for max account value all reruns should be ignored unless you are missing a very key unit like escofier or citlali while having high invest skirk / mavuika

If you're pulling zibai, definitely get columbina at very least. Ineffa is really good too, but feel like she can be also ignored if you go for colombina zibai

zibai columbina illuga goroo/zhongli should be like the #1 team in this patch
columbina ineffa are both sub dps so you still need an attacker, and numbers wise flins would be the only one even close to zibai columbina numbers

Sounds solid enough, Chasca is cool and she works with any sub dps so getting Columbina and Ineffa isn't a bad investment. I would say go for it.
