Yeah, but with clears like these you can sort of learn from OP and replace one of the characters like Ororon with an actual Main DPS like Varesa or Clorinde for easier clears.

I think the takeaway shouldnt be that everyone should now be clearing with 4 star teams, but rather if it's possible with teams like this then its possible with most peoples 5 star teams (with a bit of min maxing, and practice)

I'm trying to do this boss on Menacing with this exact team, any advice on rotations? I was only ever able to fully bring his shield down once, any tips of how to get it down in time consistently?
Update: I switch Sucrose over to Wandering Evenstar for a bit extra DPS and that did the trick!

my rotations are a bit...chaotic to say the very least 😭 but keeping track of Oz uptime as well as you can helps a lot. The only burst you need to get up immediately at the start is Xingqiu's since breaking the shields gives energy, so there's some room if lowering ER for other stats helps at all.

you dont need to play electrocharged for menacing. In lower difficulties the boss doesnt have the mechanic that makes him gain massively increased shield regen when you arent playing electrocharged.

Childe can actually work as the only hydro for the crab but you need your other 3 members to be strong/fast enough to squeeze enough damage in during the small downtime window.
I'm still working on getting a clear with it but he was able to get the shield down within the first 20 seconds by on fielding him for the small crabs, and 4 times overall with my Xiao team (I have C1R1 Xiao and C2R1 Xianyun though)

I haven't had a lot of time to test teams yet unfortunately, but I'm planning on messing around with stuff a bit later this week. The team I was trying was more just using Childe to clear the crabs for my other 3 members than a Childe team, so if you have a strong enough trio that maybe can work?
For a Childe team I remember seeing someone clearing with C0 Childe, C0 Citlali, C1 Yelan, and C6 Xingqiu but I have no idea what their stats/weapons were since there was no recording.

It gives damage bonus to electro damage and other elements involved in electro reactions and has an ER substat so it's nice but not necessary. I'd use wandering evenstar or sac frags myself personally.

this is not easy in any capacity but I'd look to adding a 5 star teammate as a replacement, if surcrose is still the driver it'd have to be an off fielder that can slot into electro charged

I had such a hard time doing this one. My account is still very much a 2 team one, so tried it with all kind of C2 Raiden teams and it just wasn't happening. Then with some Sucrose taser teams, but my Ororon isn't build and has no cons so that was out too. The closest was a Sucrose/c0 Aino/c0 Bina/ Fishl, but still it was like 10% off as I don't have any good sets for Aino or Columbina. I did manage a silk set for Aino and then went to the artifact simulator and it gave a really frankenstein result that almost worked. Then I noticed I forgot her 15 crit thing and then finally I managed a 116s clear. Tested it on the test dummy and my dps was a whopping 55k lol, shill working as intended I guess.

Sucrose, XQ and Fish were basically honorary 5-stars to begin with. Now with Hex buffs Sucrose/Fish is a strong core for a lot of teams.
And I'm already using them on the Dog with Ineffa / Columbina :P
And and XQ is on my mono-hydro team against the crabs
All these challenges want the same units from me and it's driving me nuts
