4 Star Problem

After pulling a few times on this banner, I officially have a C12 Sethos. (And an R6 Bell, what the heck)

My Fischl is still C3, and that's AFTER buying her in the Paimon shop.

I could buy more, since I'm starglitter rich from all the Sethos copies, but for some ungodly reason we can only buy one every six months.

Why are 4 stars harder to get than 5 stars?? Surely that isn't making hoyo any money?

Of course it's making Hoyo money. They wouldn't do it if it didn't.

Think about the number of people that pull a few times on banners trying to snipe a 4\* or pull a *lot* on banners to get copies of the 4\* they want whether they want the 5\* or not. Now what happens when a 5\* they want comes along and they don't have enough pulls to get them? They're going to be incentivized to spend some money to make up the difference.

It's insane how difficult some 4 stars are to get now. I really hope they'll introduce something like epitomised path for them on the standard banner or hell even just increase the shop roster

..... uh it is alot. It incentivises people to pull on the banner without the guarentee of cons for a 4star just a percentage chance.

If people actually knew what the est is for one c6 for a limited banner (not a specific one, just one) your just as likely to get a C1 5 star.

Anyway Fischl is given on hex invite has been giving out on events over the years, shop and appears as like top 3-4 on banners (Bennett is a clear number 1). Dont worry about her cons at all I dont include her on my baseline cost since shes easy enough to acquire.

Its characters like Iansan, Chevy, Faruzan, now Aino/Jahoda/Illuga that CC's scam about C6 being zero cost. Thats the lie they sell to pull more. And it only gets worse the more diluted the pool gets

Meanwhile I got early pities on both banners (might have pulled 80 all together) and got 5 copies of Fischl, 1 Sethos, and 0 Ifa

The whale pulls for 4-star alone. At least the whale I have watched. If the only newly released character is a 4-star, they would whale for it. It doesn't matter if they have C6 of the feature 5-star character.

So HoYo is actually making money off it.
