What is your dream character archetype?

What is your dream character archetype you wish will be one day released? Maybe you already have it in game?

For me- I wish for 2 archetypes

1st one- 5\* Proper tall male knight with a strong presence. My dream character in specific would be Capitano, maybe one day he will be released, it is the only character i have ever been waiting for in Genshin. The other option is Varka- I really love his design and personality, but i don't know if i am a fan of his gameplay and in PARTICULAR numbers he is making when compared to all other new DPS. Ps. Sadly but Dilluc doesn't work for me because i hate plunge attacks

2nd one- 5\* Proper Cowboy with a strong presence- who is not goffy and not a 4 star dendro character (Im looking at you Ifa) Who's gameplay is 100% focused on shooting revolvers (probably catalyst user)

Its a bit of a fever dream, but:

Male Catalyst Anemo *4 whose backstory involved having made their 'beloved' into a 'living crutch' for themselves to the detriment of their own personal development. Male Catalyst Anemo *4 knows full well what theyre doing, eventually grows to resent their 'beloved' [for a combination of reasons, "holding them back" (even if the "dependency" is entirely of Male Catalyst Anemo's own doing) and "making me look inept" (again, entirely Male Catalyst Anemo's fault, having a hypercompetent S/O and being competent yourself are NOT mutually exclusive)], and then in a fit, 'cuts ties' to be 'as free as the wind'.

They think Freedom means no interpersonal connections, no 'bonds' to 'ensnare me', they want to become 'hyperindependent' and 'hypercapable' as a solution for their own bruised ego (ie. Less so a dream and moreso pure spite)

Really, just a pathetic person all around, part of their arc would involve eventually confronting their beloved (who has since, if not regretfully, moved on, something that Male Catalyst Anemo selfishly hoped wouldnt occur) and detangling the desire to be 'hypercapable' from their own wounded pride.

Damn… this cat sounds super interesting, and would be a blast to read about/play a game with them in it, but if I ever met someone like this I would despise them. In fact I think I’d have to work very hard to resist hitting them repeatedly in the face 😅

No, just try to only use female characters with tights. Those would be the best two supports for Chiori (Bina and Ineffa skins would work too I guess) if they fit the criteria.

That sounds pretty fun, ngl. I’m hoping that by end of current banner I can get Ineffa. I’ve got some regrets not pulling her on release, but at the time I was saving for Lauma and Nefer, and I’m so glad I did get them C0R1. They’re glorious together!

But now I’d really like to have Ineffa to help my Bina wheelchair some old favorites

I want a woman (preferably a goth or maybe dark druid appearance with the improved Nod Krai models that have actual hips and thighs), that fights unarmed like Heizou or Wriothlesly.

No, Varesa and her ass based offense doesn't count. And Nefer who never normal attacks and just holds charged attack while holograms make damage numbers appear doesn't either.

I want to normal attack and *feel* the impact of the hits. A claymore character that actually normal attacks and *hits* people is acceptable, too. Like basically 5 star Noelle except without a mickey mouse voice and a personally that's not a doormat. Girlboss Varka (but don't dual wield, that's dumb).

- Faruzan, but with an Astral Vulture for skill damage, and a burst that targets enemies

* Sara, but with tig's 3 charges after skill, and a much smaller burst radius

- Beidou and yunjin, but perfect parry unlocks enhanced state with infusion and major skill cooldown reduction

* Kuki, but she actually uses her electro sword. Infusion and dual weild stance change

- Lisa: multiple E charges after burst, with some mechanic to quick-charge it.

Ellin the first 7 star.

She uses every single past, present and future element and reaction type all by herself.

She has a beefy shield, self healing, a block skill with no cooldown, immune to interrupts and CC and dots and ohkos.

She can copy any attack by any character including bosses.

Everyday you have to use her to kill at least 5 Hilichirls or she gets removed from your account.

In terms of new characters, I mostly just want to see some of the weapon/element combos filled out more.

The main ones that come to mind are Geo bow and catalyst users, because we've only had one of each since Inazuma. I also really want a 4 star Hydro bow user because I don't really like any of our current ones enough to pull for them, and the same goes for Anemo polearm because I don't really want to pull for Xiao either (Geo sword doesn't have a 4 star as well, but thankfully I have Chiori and am going for Zibai so I'm less worried about it).

As for gameplay elements, I want more characters that enable infusions like Chongyun, Candace, and C6 Bennett. I love the silly things you can do with stuff like that, such as turning Furina into a Hydro driver for Hyperbloom. It's an easy way to make characters that aren't meant to be a main dps into at least a driver, so that you can actually use their gorgeous normal attacks. Sure, it may not be super strong or anything, but it's certainly quite fun.

If I had to make a specific kit that I'd like to see, then off the top of my head I think it'd be cool to have a Geo catalyst user that infuses your on field character's normal attacks with Geo, and it adds damage based on their defense. For silly points, make it so that your normal attacks trigger Zhongli's pillar resonance mechanic. This way, you could take someone like Kachina, pair them with this theoretical character, add Gorou to the team, and then any healer to create a goofy little Kachina normal attack dps team where everyone is getting maximum value out of Gorou's buffs. Would it be good? Probably not. Could I breakdance the Raiden Shogun to death with a funny yellow stick? Yes, yes I could, and that's all I need.

(Thinking about it now, a Geo catalyst character having the infusion mechanics would be a little bad because they couldn't actually enable their own mechanics, but let's just pretend that isn't an issue lol.)

Quickswap nuke 5* cryo DPS that can take full advantage of Shenhe's Kit who are not named Ayaka. Skirk is fine, but she's on a more Hypercarry role, despite being able to quickswap with burst playstyle.
