The celestial nail not only messed up the leylines, it even shattered the white tree there.

Dragonspine is still mostly unexplored in the story. There would be no reason why a compass would even work there if it is supposed to point to a direct location in that area.

Best you can do if treasure hunting is run the boarder around it using Liyue and Mondstadt compasses.
It won't grab every treasure, but it reaches rather deep.
