Okay but was the theory that celestia is getting closer with each update true???

look, ive been playing genshin since 2021 and since back then there was this theory that celestia is getting closer with each update. ive been losing track of genshin lore and new regions and new charactes and whatnot.

for years ive just been play it to relax myself, no story, no abyss, just relaxing, beating monsters, traveling and you name it. (im still in the war of inazuma LMFAO)

anyways, if you ask me, i would say that celestia did indeed get closer. but i was talking with someone ab this and they were like "girl wtf are you talking" so now im asking myself am i trippin???

Wasn’t it simply because they changed the model from 2d to 3d?

Yes you are tripping, the only case where you can say it gets "closer" is when they replace the 2D model into 3D.

It didn't. Its size and altitude does change based on where you are viewing it.

Celestia is really just a giant meteor on a collision course with Teyvat.

All the "lore" are actually just stories people made up about the weird looking rock in the sky.

Sort of like how people made up lore about the planets in our solar system being gods.

We have literally seen 2 of the Shades directly in game, the other 2 have been in a canon trailer, the Shades confirmed the Heavenly Principles created them, and Celestia was shown in the opening cutscene.
