Daily Questions Megathread (January 23, 2026)
Ask about anything about the game that doesn't necessarily require a dedicated thread.
That is, if your question can be answered rather quickly/without significant difficulty (e.g. "Can my phone run this game?"), ask here. If you think your question can contribute to some constructive discussions (e.g. "What do you think of Amber's combat efficiency? Here's my opinion."), make a particular post with the "discussion" flair.

I have Varesa, and can do her basic combos, but I miss sometimes.
I don't need a top DPS, just enough to clear things.
Is Neuvi good? I wouldn't be able to get his C1 though. I was thinking about getting him and just chilling until Furina reruns, plus grabbing Xilo sometime later.
and next banner, the alternative to Neuvillette, ZIbai, also has a good team right there
Neuvillette c1 is for interruption resistance and letting you use two same element teammates(typically Furina) on the team while still capping his passive
if you add a shield or just be careful to avoid getting hit and stopping charge attacks, and wasnt adding same element teammate, c1 does literally nothing
note, gonna be a year until Furina returns, and Xilonen, noone can say when she returns
if you somehow get lucky, could try both Neuvillette, and then Zibai, where you hopefully got a lot of the 4 stars by the time you get her
Easy but not quite Meta: **Chasca**, **Arlecchino**, **Neuvilette**, Nilou, Clorinde
Of those, the ones in **Bold** are who I'd say are F2P friendly, working well enough without any other 5\* characters, or have several options for 5\*s that work. The others rely too much on a specific support 5\*, but could be considered if you have/are willing to get that 5\*
C1 is energy, C3 is burst levels, C4 is a DEF buff, but they are less impactful overall. C5 is basically nothing.
Since genshin store reset. When purchasing from lootbar do you get the double promos even if it isnt ur first purchase?
or
Mona c4
or
Tinari c2
I have r1 for all dps and well built supports
Klee got better, id put her above Hu Tao at this point
Hu Tao c1 is nice unless youre using Xianyun specifically. can run Bineffa wheelchair
and Mona c4 gives crit rate to whoever hits your bursted target
id ignore Wanderer or Tighnari
2. Use it on a DPS. Pure Supports gain barely anything from Lvl 95/100.
3. Use it on a strong DPS. If it's a 5% increase for every character, a DPS that deals 100k personal damage is going to get 5k DPS increase, vs a DPS that deals 50k personal damage getting only 2.5k increase for the same 'cost'.
1. So On-field DPS > Hyperbloom Trigger >= Off-field DPS >>> Support
4. Repeat Step 1, and ignore Step 2 and 3 if you have to.
I worry about using it on my Mavuika, only for her to get powercrept
Soo I was exploring Inazuma and while trying to go to a waverider/oculi I saw these purple barriers that I can't go through, how can I unlock these?
One of them is near the pyro hypostasis
\-Need to have an Electrogana active to pass through them.
\-Your Electrograna level needs to be high enough for some barriers. Raised by dumping sigils in the tree.
cause Columbina will outdamage her, and likely the onfielder too
and SMS will benefit the onfielder too, somewhat
And also lantern rite is soon and idk which character to pick that would be of use?
As a new-ish account, your focus is on obtaining characters. Pull whichever 5* you like more.
The game gets a little tough staring from Inazuma, so make teams with proper reaction dmg. Xiangling, Lisa, Barbara need a lot of Energy Recharge to work, but they are decent units if you can sort that issue out. I would recommend using Barbara or Ningguang on your team for Sustain, Ningguang can also be your on-field character.
Overall, when it comes to team building, you want to make sure all 4 units are providing something to the team, usually 1 On-field and 3 Off-field.
and technically his a4 passive gets improved a bit but dont know who bothers with that
• wanderer c3
• yae miko c1
• ayaka c1
• eula c1
• xiao c1
• tartaglia c1
i would appreciate any help i could get thanksss 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
c2 already made burst worth using at the end of a skill, c3 is just burst levels
but if you somehow got more investment on Bina and Ineffa than on Chasca
then you can put Chasca on VV set i guess
Mavuika, what weapon?
I got ineffa and Bina both this patch so haven't farmed much yet.
Aubade Ineffa
SMS Columbina
I think in this team Ifa would be your on fielder to proc VV while Columbina and Ineffa do the bulk of the damage while off field.
I don't recommend Scroll because it would only buff Ororon and Ifa's damage, and not the Lunar damage from Ineffa and Columbina.
Aubade is actually a off field DPS set with no party buffing capabilities, so putting them on both Columbina and Ineffa is fine as long as someone else holds Silken.
In cases where you you see Columbina with Silken, it's usually because Ineffa does more damage at lower investment so she gets Aubade, the third member is a VV holder and the fourth member is an on field Lunar DPS with Sky's Unveiling, so you have to sacrifice Aubade on someone because you always want to run Silken.
is the most mentioned
there really isnt any notable difference for others
to be clear, all of them will require you to open ingame History page to manually upload your history
it does not update itself
https://paimon.moe/wish
just the history page info is lost after a year
and we have no way to recover that
i dont know why you pulled on weapon banner if next goal is upcoming banner
Currently my Flins has enough ER, but I want to change his weapon from Skyward Spine to Staff of the Scarlet Sands, and I don't have the artifacts to keep his ER as high as it's now.
Flins is C0, Columbina C1 with R5 Prototype Amber, Ineffa C0 with R1 Skyward Spine, Sucrose C6 with R1 Wandering Evenstar.
Thank you!
Edit: accidentally used E instead of C for constellations.
its around 130% ER normally for Flins with Ineffa. should be much less with a c1 Columbina. but id stiill go for a 120% at least to be safe
Thanks for the help, I'll try to reach over 120 then. :)
close to 120 maybe, but dont need over(cant find accurate number though)
Columbina c1 is fairly nice at least with lunar charge specifically
That's 6 flat energy per rotation for Flins, on top of the 18 from r5 proto amber for a total of 24.
Does Columbina's C1 also grant energy to herself? When I use her skill her C1 instantly triggers Gravity Interference, and she's still on field during it. Or should I avoid triggering it with her so that Flins will get the effect first?
Yes, the c1 should give energy to herself. I don't see how there's even the option to avoid triggering it, unless there is a delay between pressing her skill and getting the c1 effect. Either way, a bit of energy for herself is entirely desireable.
What I do wonder about is how the game picks which c1 effect to give when it's the very first thing you do in combat. Would you mind trying the following:
- Burst to empty out energy
- Teleport somewhere else, find some enemy without any inherent aura, ability to put aura on itself, or sources of aura nearby (water, torches, electro rocks...). Plenty of overworld bosses would fit the bill, like Inazuma's perpetual mechanical array.
- As the *first and only thing* you do to that enemy, hit Columbina skill, which through c1 should produce an instant gravity interference
- Observe what lunar reaction flavor that gravity interference gets
Maybe in this case the game looks at your party and gives the (most) matching effect. If you happen to have Lauma and/or Nefer as well, it'd be fun to try this with the lunar charged characters in the party, with the lunar bloom characters in the party, and with only Columbina in the party.
Even if you had not planned to get BP, don't pull for weapons. You'll get far better value out of strong new characters.
You can also just position yourself to hit the small crabs and the big one. But that's the tactic: depleting the little guys so they hit the big guy while also damaging the big one. When downed big focus dmg for those 10s.
Or you can do E N2E on Nilou, getting more Bountiful Cores but losing some of Lauma's quills on Bina's hits where they're more valuable.
Edit: I guess I was thinking C2R1 Nilou here, if yours is C0R0 then you gain very little from having her on the team doing N3. More fun then to use the water aura mode and just have more big Blooms.
- The game reverts it to the stage when it had 4 stats with no additional rolls into any of them, which is the +4 stage for a 3-line starter and the +0 stage for a 4 line-starter.
- The 4 or 5 rolls, respectively, are done again. You are guaranteed to have 2 rolls (or 3 or 4 at special points) go into the selected two secondaries ***by the end of the process***. That means that, at every roll, the game considers whether it can allow full randomness or needs to constrain the RNG to the selected secondaries, to meet its promise by the time the piece reaches +20 again.
- You will be given the choice to keep the old version of the piece, or the newly rolled version.
An example: you have a CR circlet with CD, ATK%, ER and EM secondaries. It was a 3-liner originally. You select CD and ATK% for a typical 2-guaranteed reshape.
- The piece is reverted to +4. There will be 4 rolls. 0 out of 2 promised rolls fulfilled. The next roll is fully random.
- At +8, you roll into EM. There will be 3 more rolls. 0 out of 2 promised rolls fulfilled. The next roll is fully random.
- At +12, you roll into CD. There will be 2 more rolls. 1 out of 2 promised rolls fulfilled. The next roll is fully random.
- At +16, you roll into EM. There will be 1 more roll. 1 out of 2 promised rolls fulfilled. The next roll will be constrained.
- At +20, you roll into ATK%. 2 out of 2 promised rolls fulfilled.
Generally, the best use of this system is on pieces that have a good selection of stats on them, but rolled into the least useful of those stats.
Rerolling costs 1 or 2 feathers, depending on what artifact type you use it on. Feathers/Flowers cost 1, the others cost 2.
On the 6th and 12th feather you spend, you get a single 'advanced reshape'. These are same as the normal reshapes, but instead of 2 you'll have 3 rolls guaranteed to go somewhere among the selected substats.
On the 18th feather, you get a single 'decreed reshape', same again but with 4 rolls guaranteed.
After that the cycle resets. (If you always do 2-cost reshapes, you get an upgraded version on every 3d reshape.)
which c1 is worth getting (missing a few older 5\* and newer dps nod krai characters)
no point asking in general without saying what you actually have
the majority from Themper list dont have a very good c1
Baizhu C1 or Nilou C1? Already have Albedo C1
unless you want to use Baizhu with Furina specifically otherwise you dont need that extra teamwide heal when his shield already protects fairly well. lowers team ER needs though

Which character should I choose and why?
You would know if they were game changing. Sns would be all over it.
If none, then whichever standard character is closest to c6 to maximize chances of masterless SF sooner rather than later.
Since I'm gonna be putting her on AMM, would Prospector's shovel R5 be better then? I can't auto attack with PJWS on AMM anyways. I also haven't used my billets in years so I have plenty to spare.
I don't know why the weapon is missing here:

the witches set is for the witches: Klee and Durin. Venti if you are using 2x anemo and someone else is on VV. maybe Razor or Mona, idk.
Aubrade buffs the wearer's off-field Lunar DPS. Therefore it probably good for off-field Lunar DPS. Off-field Lunar DPS include Ineffa and Columbina (often Silken Moon is still better on Columbina).
Rising Winds gives the wearer %ATK+CR if they are a Hexi character. So it's probably good on DPS Hexi characters that scale on ATK (even on-field Venti).
With the free constellation, I’m having a hard time deciding but I want to optimize my old characters.
Here are my current options:
* Yae Miko C2 to C3: I love her and use her constantly.
* Shenhe C0 to C1: i don't know if her constellations is good ?
* Ayato C1 to C2: One of my absolute favorites, but I’m worried he might be "outdated."
* Ayaka C1 to C2: I like her, but do the extra blizzards actually make a difference?
* Hu Tao C0 to C1: I know it’s the "ultimate comfort" pick, but I don't play Pyro much.
* Cyno C0 to C1 i love the character, but he is like ayato, i think ?
My dilemma: Who gets the biggest raw damage percentage increase?
(I also have Escoffier C3 and my Furina is C6.)
Thanks for the help!
Other options you could consider are Miko, who gets an upgrade with her C3 and also because you use her. Shenhe is alright, more energy generation for the team can become handy.
Yae C3 is just +3 talent level for some extra damage, but nothing special and not a big one in 6.0 standard. Fischl performs better in a lot of situations. Shenhe C1 is good for Ayaka and can be used to charge Escoffier in the first rotation of stygian, but its priority is lower than Ayaka C2 even back to 2.x. Hu Tao C1 is also a good one if you still use her, but the problem is that Mavuika will do much more damage and Arle is much easier to use. I may pick up Hu Tao C1 next time. Ayato and Cyno are mostly outdated.
Basically all of the units eligible for this event are kinda outdated; That's the point. I wouldn't let that influence your decision too much. If Ayato is your favorite, C2 is a pretty respectable dps increase if you want to make him more usable in modern content.
That being said, if the question is "which of these would provide more value to my account", then Ayaka would be your best bet, I think.
The entrance should be under the waterfall to the west of it, but it requires you to have progressed the [main quest for that area](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Floating_Jade,_Treasure_of_Chenyu).
But it's really just a C2 stepping stone
Im thinking C1 Klee, but I could also do C3 albedo, C1 Baizhu, or C2 Xiao/Ganyu
then Klee is best choice. if you actually have an interest in using her
I assume you mean something different here.
Shenhe would probably be limited to my only freeze team (Skirk).. while I think Albedo could fit in most other teams flex slots, specially with that hex upgrade of his alongside fischl/sucrose/etc.
Is Shenhe c1 a significant upgrade for skirk teams? With no plans to pull Varka or future hex dps, would albedo still be a better choice?
Is shenhe c1 significant for skirk? Not really....ish? Her use would be to battery escoffier some if you didnt have enough ER. Her other use would be to tap e, ult with skirk, hold E, and NA string. Which can be significant but only if you're a burst+NA skirk player
In the team of Columbina, Sucrose, Aino and Fischl, can I instead use Lanyan?
Also would Ifa work if I use Ororon instead of Fischl?
Thanks!
Same goes for Ifa/ororon
I could swap them I guess?
>! What did Varka, Arlecchino, and Nicole do? Like I know they did the remaining 10% of the formula to bring the moon down but what kind of power did Nicole use and what kind of purpose did Varka and Arlecchino do for Nicole's power to bring the moon down. !<

A few times you didn't hold E on Lauma. And you should REALLY be using Lauma hold E and Q *as soon as* either is on CD. Those quills are a HUGE part of team DPS.
At 12s into fight you switch back to Lauma right as her E's 12s CD is ready again (great timing). BUT you don't use E again until 20s and you tap E not hold. At 18s Burst CD was ready but not enough energy until 26s. Stuff like that.
Lauma E times (should be every 12s): 0s, 20s (tap E, not hold), 39s, 56s (tap E), 79s, 96s (tap E), 115s.
So only 7 E uses and you only hold E for 3 of them! You should have 8-9 hold E's in 120s (first will be a tap E due to no Verdant Dew). 3<<9.
I imagine the burst uptime has similar problems. Which means Lauma needs more ER, funnel extra energy particles from XQ/Yelan to her (XQ and Yelan should battery each other well enough as is), or maybe a second Dendro (probably not that option unless you have like C2 Nahida).
With better Lauma uptime, you should be hitting 70-80k pretty reliably and possibly 90-100k. You need to be more fluid with your rotation and less rigid like it's an exact 18s rotation like other teams. If Lauma E/Q or Kuki's E CD's are ready, stop what you are currently doing and switch to them and use them immediately. Lauma's E (12s CD) and Q (15s CD) should get more and more staggered as the fight progresses. If either Lauma's E or Q is about to come off CD, stay on her, use that Talent and then switch afterwards. Delay XQ/Yelan stuff and do them in-between. The advantage of both XQ/Yelan is at least one of their Bursts should be up.
If i play a team, Nefer, Lauma and Columbina. What artifacts set should I use for each character. My guess is Nefer : Night of the Sky's Unveiling, Lauma : Silken Moon's Serenade and Columbina : Aubade of Morningstar and Moon. But I don't really understand the "not stacking effect" since multiple artifacts have the same "Gleaming Moon" effect.
And can somebody tell me what stats should I prioritise for Columbina, other than HP/CritRate/CritDmg.
If using Columbina's signature, she needs \~170 ER. If using Prototype Amber she needs \~155 ER. If using anything else she needs +200 ER.
ER > CR = CD > HP%
I'm not sure if that team makes her competitive (or fills a specific niche) when compared with my other teams like Mav Melt/Skirk/Varesa OL/Nefer. Maybe she's obsolete, and it'll just be a waiting game for Nicole/Alice to revive her through hex buffs and I'd be better off farming mora instead.
Still Xianyun plunge?
https://youtu.be/IVCk2qY740Y?si=VEFKMyVMQLClO4ix
>Inflicting Pyro or Hydro on a Quicken Aura will consume it to trigger Burning or Bloom respectively.
Kuki triggering quicken doesn't matter and hyperbloom will just be more bonus damage instead of 0 if you leave Furina on healing.
Also Kuki is usually left with Instructor for more party EM boost as well.
Not a whole lot of 'great' fourth slot options unless you're carrying around constellations - things like Nahida C2 or Nilou C2. If you're looking for sustain, just about any healer or shielder of sufficient strength would do decently enough. Shinobu just tends to be one of the few that also brings some offensive benefit to the table.
Whereas you look at healer mode Furina. She heals more, and she gives the team HP through Hydro resonance, which isn't bad for Bina. But that's it. Zero damage, no off-field damage to hold sets like Silken or Deepwood, no way to trigger reactions for Instructor. You might as well put her on OHC in this team.
Plus, why would you force Furina into this team and ignore 90% of her kit, surely you'd find a better use for her in another team?
As for other options, Sucrose is the best as usual, for more EM. Diona C6 is decent, and if you don't have Nefer's sig you can do a fun tech with Sac Frag and do 3[E 3CD] combos. Nahida is good as well, but slightly slows down rotations with her animation times. Baizhu for healing and shield. Nilou C2 for shred and Hydro res. Aino C6 for Lunar DMG bonus and EM. Ineffa for shield and Electro, but again wasting like 2/3 of her 'value' without LC.
If you put Furina on healing mode, she doesn't have any elemental application - not even from the Spiritbreath Thorn, since that's a 0U attack. That means no Sapwood or Instructor.
Only characters I know I want are Nicole and Alice (whenever that is)
Also, 'hold their own' meaning what? Able to clear Abyss F12? Stygian Fearless? Cuz that list will have changes every month.
Eula Hyperbloom with Lauma as the sole Dendro is an example of a true wheelchair team, because it's Lauma, Kuki Shinobu and Xingqiu who are doing most of the work, and although Eula's damage is still boosted by super-conduct as of now, it's still kinda paltry compared to the hyperbloom damage that the other three contribute to (XQ is Hydro application, Lauma is Dendro application, Kuki is Electro application and EM). Take out Lauma for Nahida or Baizhu as the Dendro unit and you're still likely to see hyperbloom doing most of the work.
"Hold their own" meaning Abyss F12 full clear. No need for ridiculous clear times like each chamber cleared in 30 seconds. A team that can consistently perform well while being reasonably cheap (0-cost because all are 4-stars) is Sucrose National with Bennett, Xiangling and Xingqiu. That is the minimum benchmark.
There are plenty of people that still manage to clear Abyss with 4\* teams that don't necessarily use those 4\* units above, by matching the buffs and needs of each Abyss.
Why not buffed Klee, though? She has Fischl + Chevreuse to help her now even without Durin.
**C1 Ganyu**: Stronger cryo dps. 15% cryo shred, stronger Ganyu is always nice. Pretty much the only cryo dps I have besides Skirk. Any chance of her getting buffed in the near future?
**C1 Dehya**: +1 pyro applicator. Frees up my Mavuika for another team. Makes her usable, I'd use her as off field pyro especially for like Ganyu team. I will be pulling Nicole too.
**C1 Klee**: +1 pyro dps. I heard she's really good and becomes a decent onfield dps at c1? I'd have another pyro main dps, after Mavuika, Arlecchino, C6 Xiangling too.
**C2 Mona**: +1 hydro support. Frees up Furina, or maybe Bennett or Kazuha? I honestly never use Mona in any team. At most I'd use her for off field hydro, but I already have Furina, Aino, Yelan, Xingqiu, and now Columbina for that.
Dehya: Standard character that you'll get more copies of over time, making a constellation pick less attractive. Add on that it really takes more than just her C1 to make her decent and it's not the best pick.
Klee: The C1 is a buff generally, but can specifically mess up reactions in vaporize teams sometimes. Generally stronger, but not game changing.
Mona: She's probably the best pick of the bunch, but is also a standard unit that you'll get more copies of over time. Her C4 the one you really want with her new buffs, but her C2 is decent. That being said, if you don't use her then it's moot.
Based on this, I would put the priority order as Ganyu, Klee, Mona, Dehya.
Should I pull for Columbina or Ineffa right now to build the best possible team for him? (I can't afford to pull both)
I heard that Columbina is a better overall support and Ineffa is still good but more specific for Flins, so which one would give me more value?
The sorta permanent ascendant gleam you get while inside of Nod-Krai is from Selenic Chronicle.
From there, you can look at the characters that are released and the characters that you think might come out in the future. You can filter based on how strong you think they might be for beating end game modes, you can filter for how much you like them aesthetically, or whatever filter you want to put on. It will eventually have a list of characters that you are interested in and you can somewhat put them in an ordered list or a tiered list or whatever suits your fancy.
Finally, you look at the income you have and what you want. If you are wanting the strongest characters, then they will probably continue to push characters that fit into the square hole they provide through their rotating end games. Choosing either strong supports or strong carries and generally going for their teammates will often be able to help you tune in to end game content even if you are not the "strongest" at the moment. If you don't care too much about relative strength then you have more overall freedom to choose what characters you do and don't like. I know a good number of people that ask for help clearing things like menacing stygian just to get all the primos and the feather and there is nothing wrong with doing that. If you are somewhere in between then you will plan out what you think the best course of action will be and adjust your saving plans as you go along.
Also don't open the wishing screen. The game will drip feed you standard wishes so that you will go spend them and have to pass by the limited wish banners and be tempted to pull on them. The less frequently you open the wish screen, the less you think about it and the more you can save.
I only pulled like 2 characters in 4.x
You don't need every character. You can ignore community.
it tells me to complete the quest first, but when i try to teleport to nearby waypoints, it won't let me.
i'm currently stuck inside the Angel's Bar.
I have heard rumors of liyue characters getting buffs so im unsure
I got Columbina and skipped Ineffa to get Zibai next half but I´m totally confused with these new NC sets for her and which one I should farm. Should I go farm the 6.0 support set or should I farm the new 6.3 lunar set?
Äny advice?
Illuga C2 gives him off field dmg so he can use SMS. He cannot properly activate SMS without C2
Thing is, you'll need another krai to let her boost the team and lunar dmg, so basically Aino to help with hydro aplication or Jahoda for healing, anyone else is gonna mess up crystalize reactions.
Then the other 2 can be a geo like zhongli or Albedo if not both, and maybe xq/yelan if the horse woman has fast geo aplication (fuck knows if she can)
If you did, you're probably missing one of these 3 quests: [1](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/The_Chi_of_Yore) [2](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/The_Tree_who_Stands_Alone) [3](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Treasure_Lost,_Treasure_Found_(Part_2\))
EDIT: hmm, dunno if there's a way to get that link markup to work on both New Reddit and Old Reddit. Let's see if this works on New Reddit: [3](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Treasure_Lost,_Treasure_Found_(Part_2))
Any other game I play, Wuthering Waves, World of Warcraft, etc. They all play perfectly fine. It's only Genshin that does so. I've tried every fix, multiple times to no avail.
Just frustrated and annoyed. Not really sure what to do. I know it's not on their side, otherwise more people would be having these issues but it can't be on my end, because everything else works just fine.
Anyway, thanks for listening to my ted talk.. If anyone has any solutions I'm all ears or I'm just going to drop Genshin.
Appreciate the reply though.
If you want to build effective teams, probably not.
Your question is missing a lot of information and frankly it's a matter of personal taste.
Here’re the teammates’ builds:
Columbina w/ ⭐️ Nocturne’s Curtain Call, Night of the Sky’s Unveiling
Nilou w/ R4 Serenity’s Call, Tenacity of the Millelith + Vourukasha’s Glow
Baizhu w/ R5 Prototype Amber, Ocean-hued Clam
Any other suggestions/positive criticism on the team are also appreciated - thanks!
Everyone C0. I feel it *may* be possible, but that I'm lacking some on artifact quality; thou not sure better stats for Citlali/Xilonen/Kazuha would improve the team's damage by a noticeable amount; and while Mavuika is not the best; she is well geared enough that upgrades is not easy (Top 15%).
I have C1 Flins, Navia, Cyno as dpses and Nahida, Yelan, Furina, Xilonen as supports.
Also, does Kuki work on lunar bloom reaction team?
Without a lunar dps to support, columbina doesnt really have much to offer lol. Do you have Navia? I think she's one of navia's best supports now

Yes. Lauma without a lunar bloom dps still just buffs up bloom/hyperbloom/burgeon. Kuki's also an option for nefer teams too, even though nefer prevents hyperbloom.
When doing artifact routes; you usually want to investigate 99 spots exactly, and then go to the area were the most artifacts will load at the same time (used to be a pyramid in Sumeru, dunno if that changed), and then, while new ones can't appear after you pick the 100th one, the ones you have loaded will still be there, and you end up with like 120+ investigations.
THEN you can go farm some spots that don't count as interacts; like a breakable barrel in the Chasm, a couple breakable pots in Fontaine, the bubbles around the changing-weather tree in Sumeru, a couple of "bird-bushes" in Natlan, and the purple glows that only Ororon or Citlali can get.
I have it at level 7, and am only missing one lunoculous to get it to level 8.
The treasure compass doesn't show anything aside from the treasure chest in the shrine of depth that I can't access yet.
Generally though I just take a lot of care in who feeds particles to who, and in what order, to get the rotation started sooner. For example Nefer doesn't need her burst, and she can't really do anything with her skill until you have enough dew, so starting the fight with her skill and immediately swapping off her to Columbina or Lauma lets them catch the particles for an extra energy boost.
Little optimizations like that can make a significant difference.
Running a little high recharge at the expense of stats can sometimes be worth it. For my Nefer team vs the dog I had two Columbina builds with an ER sands or HP sands. The hp sands was maybe 5% too low and waiting that second for a particle was enough to not clear, while recharge sands but less damage was enough to clear.
