When will genshin impact actually conclude?

Just curious. Cuz now there is just one region remaining with so many uncovered truths like the true identity of Zhongli, Asmoday, Paimon, Heavenly Principles. I really love this story but I can’t possibly go on a year without a huge lore drop

I doubt it. There is money to be made

It was originally planned as a 10 years game, personally I hope they end Teyvat chapter nicely, but if they keep making content after that I night drop the game lol

With how long they plan to keep this IP going I feel a second chapter coming along

>Cuz now there is just one region remaining

Don't forget about Khaenri'ah.

This is all technically still the Teyvat Chapter, we will probably leave the planet at some point, especially considering how many important characters are/were out in space.

besides Surtalogi I can't remember anybody else.

Skirk is from space and does not intend to stay on Teyvat forever. It’s known/assumed that Alice has been to other worlds. The Traveler and sibling are, obviously, from space. Nibelung went to space and came back…

We going all aboard the astral express once the chapter is over then? Sky opens and the trailblazer comes to pick us up or something?

THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW THAT THIS IS CALLED "THE TEYVAT CHAPTER" IS TOO DAMN HIGH.

GENSHIN IMPACT DOESN'T END AFTER KHAENRI'AH.

The devs themselves said they visioned Genshin lasting for atleast a decade.

"Checkmate is not where the game ends."

When it stops making money. This isn't a game that'll end when the current story ends.

Neospanner2026-01-23 13:46

The current storyline won't conclude for another two and a half years at a minimum. We still need to finish the Nod-Krai act, and then there's Snezhnaya and Khaenri'ah acts to go. However, in the [Travail teaser](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAlKhARUcoY) released before the game's debut, the act number for Khaenri'ah is blurred out, so it might not immediately follow Snezhnaya.

As a live service game, however, the game will continue on after that storyline ends, likely with a new storyline set in a different location. As long as Genshin remains popular and profitable, they will continue writing new content for it.

I think a while back, the devs mentioned a ten-year plan for the game, and more recently have talked about twenty years, so I wouldn't worry about the game concluding anytime soon.

Yes but not anytime soon I can tell you

Lucky-Oven54672026-01-23 16:27

One region left? Hahaha you're funny. We still have 2, maybe three left with Khaenri'ah, Sea of Flowers, and Celestia.

don't know what you mean by "conclude". If you mean EOS, then not for a few more years. If you mean the story ends, that could happen in the next few years but they'll right away move onto chapter 2.
