I would do anything for hoyo to add an open world reset so I can recollect chests and rexplore the world again.
I don't even care for primos don't give me primos from chests I got just let me rexplore the world and redo quests with my current characters

It took me more than 2 months when I started last October with sumeru doing the whole archon quest, find every waypoint, and all story quests.
To be fair I can't play 6 or 7 hours a day every day but I feel like it'll take someone way way more if you want to mix it up with other activities as well.

As a 3 month old player who am halfway through ar 56, I would say that is pretty common(not normal),especially if this is your 1st agcha game. The same happened with me. My best tip would be to take your time with the story and not rush it for primos. If you need primos do exploration(even if it can be kinda boring). 2nd tip, a lot of the world quest(needed to unlock new areas) dialogue is just yap so if you feeling that the game is being more tedious than fun, just skip it. You can always check lore videos on YouTube if you are interested. Also, it's ok to watch guides if you are stuck on something. I remember when I started playing, I was stuck on some puzzle for 3 hours and my head was hurting really bad. If something takes too much time, just look up a guide. Genshin has a lot of content and you do not have to do all the content. Lastly, be mindful of how much time you are spending on game as everything in the game is made to spend more time. If you are free during this time then heck play genshin for 12hr, but if you are not then maybe try playing about less? I technically played genshin for a week in Jan 2025 but quit as I was spending too much time in it. I came back late October when I just wanted to escape reality and have been playing since.
