Neuvillette rerun banner dilemma

Hii so I have wanted Neuvi's signature weapon for a while but kept missing it and now with his banner coming up with Zibai, I'm scared of losing to Zibai's weapon 😭

So I want some advice on the following:

\- is his sig weapon NECESSARY?

\- is it better to pull for his extra CONS?

\- alternatively is C2 Flins a better option?

Nope

Depends on what you want, really
If you like him, I'd go for R1/C1. If you're playing him with ineffa, I'd go R1

currently, flins is an objectively better dps than neuvi

honestly if youre willing to lose to another weapon before getting neuvis then go for it. bc your chance is less than 50% so :( consider if you have enough wishes and are willing to have that, and if u have a good use for zibais weapon in case u get that. otherwise c1 neuvi is great bc then u can pop furina and him on the same team and still get x3 draconic stacks

for me i pulled his weapon bc the banner was shared w homa which i gave to zhongli

Oof I regret missing it that time! I was taking a break from Genshin 😭

Ahh yeah I have like 30 pity on chara banner for now with no guaranteed but for his weapon if I lose to zibais then I don't think I can use hers for anyone else I have :((

in that case, pls be careful with your wishes ;A; you probably wont get it from your first 5\* pull, and theres no 5050 loss carry from weapon banner or anything. i just saw the BP catalyst is a good option for him and is quite pretty too if u have it!! good luck with your pulls <3

Iirc if you use Furina with Neuv then C1 and R1 are approximately the same amount of dmg increase

Also, if you already have C1 Flins, C2 is less of an upgrade than either C1 Neuv or R1 Neuv [I could be wrong here though lol]

Adding to the other comments.
If you're strictly talking about meta.
Zibai is best option out of ones you mentioned, assuming you have Ineffa and Columbina, if not, then get them first.

Yess I have them both for my Flins team and am looking to build a second DPS 😅 I have charas like Neuvi, Wriothesley, Clorinde, Arlecchino etc. but dunno who to focus on...I skipped Xilonen for Bina/Neffa so kinda screwed up with that one 🙃

With Zibai tho, I'm skeptical of how long she will be good until another chara releases and she's another forgotten geo chara...just like my Itto 😭
