Genshin started to lag after I brought laptop in from a repair shop
So. I bought this laptop around two years ago (Lenovo IdeaPad 3 82SB) and my GPU fan started making a lot of noise just a few months after. Since it only happened sometimes, I ignored it. But this last month, it makes noise nonstop, so I brought it into a repair shop after digging into a few. I told them to replace the CPU fan because I thought the fan I'm talking about was the CPU fan, so they did, but it turns out it's the GPU fan. So I received my PC back and I'll bring it in a few days later to get the GPU fan replaced, they ordered the replacement. They replaced the thermal paste.
I came home and booted genshin, and for the first time, it's lagging so so much. Even in low graphics settings, it kinda lags. I am panicking so so so much right now, but I don't think they stole anything? I hope? Is there any logical explanation for this?

Use a program to see your temperatures.
Meaning, Genshin had to repopulate them, which would typically result in some stutters as you explore around.
Alternatively, they could've manually cleared the cache with some tool without updating the driver.
Regardless, it's standard behavior.
