What do you think a Genshin Impact anime would look like in terms of adaption and how would it be received by non-players?
Ever since the news of there being a planned anime adaption of Genshin, I couldn't stop thinking about how it would be adapted.
Will each season focus on a different region?
Will the story only consist of the archon quests?
How much of the lore will they include?
Will they add new content to further flesh out the characters, world, story and lore?
Will it only be the Traveler and Paimon that we'll see most of the time or will there be a party consisting of characters from the current region that is being focused on?
And so on.
If it's true that Ufotable, the studio that is adapting Demon Slayer, is working on Genshin, then I already know that the animation and especially the fights will look absolutely amazing and Genshin's soundtrack is incredible as we all know.
I wonder how the anime would be received by non-players as well. Will it be really successful and popular like the Arcane animated series that attracted so many people who aren't League of Legends players or would non-players not like when the cast keeps changing with each region instead of having a core cast besides the Traveler and Paimon?
For example, series like Avatar The Last Airbender and Frieren also have the main character constantly travelling and exploring the world, but the core cast is the same every time and the amount of characters both series have in general isn't nearly as big as Genshin's always growing cast.
Sorry for the rant haha! What do you guys think?
