Had this idea for a Natlan International Fighting Tournament event
Picture the following: in a desire to promote unity with the other nations in Teyvat, Mavuika decides to host an international fighting tournament since previously they were mainly holding the Pilgrimage, in which only Natlanians could participate. In this tournament, each of the other nations will send a representative to fight against Natlan's warriors, both as a cultural exchange and as a "show us how you fight" thing. Sadly, the Traveler is not allowed to participate in the fights because they don't represent one of the seven nations, and their participation would defeat the purpose of the tournament.
The representatives of each nation are as follows, as well as who they would initially be pitted against and how they'd interact with their opponents:
* **Mondstadt: Eula VS Xilonen** \- Both want to see each other's "dance moves" and get into each other's good graces thanks to Amber. Their fight ends in a draw when they knock each other out simultaneously. Eula swears "vengeance" at such an outcome.
* **Liyue: Shenhe VS Mualani** \- Shenhe's violent mannerisms end up spooking those around her, but Mualani gets around it by trying to get Shenhe to use friendlier terms. Shenhe proves a tough fight for Mualani due to her brute strength and adeptus training, but Shenhe loses due to Mualani's speed, experience, and unpredictability.
* **Inazuma: Arataki Itto VS Varesa** \- Iansan is unavailable to represent the Collective of Plenty, so Varesa takes her place. Varesa is very reluctant to fight Itto since she doesn't want to hurt him, but Itto eggs her on so she'll fight, telling her he can take whatever she throws at him. His insults eventually rile her up so much that she fights him seriously, but Itto beats her. Later on, it's revealed that Itto was not meant to be Inazuma's representative, having stolen the slot from Kujou Sara. Sara arrives furiously to punish him, but Mavuika defends Itto due to his performance in the tournament.
* **Sumeru: Cyno VS Kinich and Ajaw** \- Due to being one of the few real fighters in Sumeru, Cyno is chosen to represent the Akademiya. However, he also brings his bad puns with him, prompting Ajaw to shout at him that his jokes suck. This angers Cyno, who beats up Ajaw but leaves himself wide open to Kinich, who takes the win.
* **Fontaine: Clorinde VS Chasca** \- Chasca and Clorinde both respect each other for being keepers of the peace in their respective nations and give each other a good fight, with Clorinde maintaining her undefeated streak.
* **Snezhnaya: Childe VS Ororon** \- Citlali refuses to be the representative of the Masters of the Night Wind, forcing Ororon to step up. His match against Childe results in an embarrassing defeat, but Childe is more interested with how Ororon got to know Il Capitano. Later on, Ororon takes Childe to visit Capitano's frozen throne so he can pay his respects.
In addition, Mavuika ends up sending a message to Raiden Ei, asking if she would attend the tournament as a guest of honor. When Ei shows up, Mavuika takes the opportunity to challenge the Electro Archon to a fight. Ei accepts, but has the battle moved to her Plane of Euthymia to avoid causing massive collateral damage. Mavuika loses the fight with Ei due to the Electro Archon's skill and experience trumping the Pyro Archon's raw power, but Ei wins only by a hair.
Just wanted to share this in the vain hopes that we may get something like this in the future.
