The fatui fallout shelter quest was good and all, but....

Why didn't the traveler use their elemental abilities? Just because they left their weapons outside doesn't mean they can't rasengan, earthbend or do stuff like that. Heck, when I saw the place was overrun by the abyss like it was Metroid fusion, the first thing I did was try to get out to see if I could get my sword (sadly, you can't).

Anyone else wasn't fully immersed in the quest because of they didn't buy the whole "helpless, disarmed traveler" bit?

They tried something different and was more puzzle focused, it was good and we didn’t need the same old same old all the time

I sort of regarded it as the Traveler taking the opportunity to flex their non-combat adventuring skills. They never seemed scared or nervous during the quest (even if Paimon clearly was), so they were treating the whole ordeal like a challenge.
