I need character investment recommendations.

So I think I am officially at the end game of genshin impact and I don't really know who I should invest into. I'm also completely F2P.

What characters should I pull for? I am not that interested in the new lunar teams, but I did get Columbina. I am thinking of just investing more into characters I already own.

I main a C2R1 Varesa, who I use in a team with C6 fischl, C6 chevreuse and C0 Durin.
I also own C0 Mavuika, C0 xilonen, C0 Furina, C1 Nahida, C0 Navia, C0 Columbina and C0 Chasca. (I also own all standard characters except for Mizuki)
I also have C6 Kuki, C6 Ororon, C5 Iansan, C5/6 Bennett and a C0 Sucrose.
I do NOT own Yelan, Kazuha and Citlali and I am not really interested in getting them either.

I mainly play Varesa and I use Mavuika (with Furina, bennett, Xilonen) in a second team, but Lunar crystallize Navia (with Columbina, Furina, Xilonen) is also interesting (sadly it does reuse characters from Mavuika's team).

Any advice for who I should invest in or who I should pull for? Any team recommandations? Currently I'm thinking of going for C1/C2 and maybe R1 Mavuika but I'm not sure where to go after that.

Do you prefer casual play or is your goal to get max rewards from all 3 end game modes?

If you enjoy casual play then who you pull/invest is mostly a personal decision and won’t really affect your experience exploring or enjoying the story.

However, if you want the max rewards from end game modes then unfortunately you’re account is going to benefit a lot more from horizontal investment by pulling and building a variety of teams to clear all of the situational content rather that investing more into the characters you have. Stygian and IT are great examples of this because you need either a very specific team or a variety of built characters to clear these modes.

You have a lot of overlap between your teams with the supports your main dps' want. Honestly, I'm seeing a Lauma pickup on her rerun if you like her. You'll have a Columbina main dps setup and/or dendro/hyperbloom team. The supports shouldn't overlap too much, you'll have a dendro team, and you'll want another Nod Krai character to go with Columbina.

Afterward, if you're interested in Hexerei characters, I'd focus there. It does overlap a bit, but you already have characters to work with them (Mona, Fischl, Durin, Sucrose).

Yeah, I'll probably get Lauma on her rerun. My Nahida has just been sitting unused on my account because I don't really own any good dendro teams. Then I'll also have a third team that doesn't overlap with the others (Columbina, Lauma, Nahida, Kuki/Hydro character).

I've been playing this game since 1.0, and what I'd say to you is that long term, breadth is better than depth. Especially given the character-shilling direction Abyss and Stygian Onslaught have taken, investing in supports is going to be more useful than investing in DPSes. That way if they decide to relegate your DPS to the "outdated" bucket, the supports can be transferred to a new team.

So in your case, I'd focus on building your 4 star roster, pulling some high-value 5 star supports, and only considering the weapon banner if the weapon is useful on a lot of different characters. If you want to look back in a year or two and think your pulls were well spent, I think you should cool it with the DPS investment. When Raiden came out, people considered her C2 to be total overkill, but nowadays it's hard to even use her in endgame content. Meanwhile, Zhongli is still pretty good in almost any team, especially if you don't have the primos to pull each DPS's specialized 5 star supports. Heck, he's probably going to be Zibai's BiS 4th slot.

Regarding team-building, the easiest thing to do for your current team is to build Iansan for Mavuika so you can free up Furina for Navia's team.

Yeah you're right, I completely forgot that supports are way more universal than a DPS.
Maybe I'll look into what cons are good for my support characters like Furina and Xilonen (I use them alot, so that would prob be worth it more).

Are there any specific supports/characters you recommend getting/building?
