Yep. I'm on probably more than a hundred retries at this point. If this can open up Furina for the Crab (need her help for Varesa to kill Shock Trooper at exactly 120s, not enough damage otherwise), I'm willing to do it.
Did the GMC Zhongli cheese vs the Iktomisaurus for the previous SO too. It did took a lot of tries but it worked. Clearing Dire often requires the shilled team + some vertical investment + perfect execution + a lot of luck. The amount of attempts required to pull off a hard-to-execute cheese is no different than trying to clear it without the appropriate vertical investment.

This is very RNG dependent. First thing you have to do is stagger the boss with Jean, and it's the most inconsistent thing ever. And if you do stagger them, you better pray to god that the 20% of sac not triggering doesn't happen because you need it.
Geo Traveller's part isn't that hard. The next hard part is ensuring that Zhongli's pillar doesn't have a gap because the point is to clip the trooper in Geo Traveller's skill, and using Zhongli to prevent them from clipping out. The timing itself is forgiving but holy shit, trying to guess the distance is annoying.
It's definitely "doable" but definitely requires some time.

I haven’t done it yet so keep that in mind but for the Jean stagger, I went from getting it 1/10 times to about 60% of the time by doing these things:
- zoom out while the countdown is happening so you can see Jean’s shoes fully
- Start walking forward before the countdown ends but only just before the shield wall goes down. Jean should only just stutter for a split second on the edge of it but it shouldn’t interrupt her walk cycle. You can see the stutter in the clear video. This is hard at first but you can use the sound of the clock ticking down to help you
- count 5 steps from Jean without stopping, then use e
- when you use e, aim just outside the top right (from our angle) of his hat
If you mess up when to start walking it can still work but it’s really difficult. When I start walking at the right time I get the stagger about 80% of the time

I attempted a lot more after this comment and idk if I lost something in the process or if I am just burnt out of trying (I tried for like 3 hours yesterday).
