My first ever Abyss clear.

Not 9 stars but I did it. Been a 1.x player and never took a dive in the Abyss beyond 9 and 10 floor. Since Natlan I started 11. And for the first time I completed Floor 12.

I could have gotten six star if I cared enough but I just wanted to complete the Abyss for the first time.

Just take your time. I have been playing since Zhongli's second rerun. That should tell you how long it took me to properly sink my teeth in this.

There was a time when I struggled to even 3 star the 11-3. It's daunting yes. But sooner or later you'll get it done.

I was an F2p but I have been buying Walkin since Luna 1. And the genesis crystals are for skins. If you play for a while it's possible.

Nah it's feasible! I know it can be daunting but just focus on investing in 2 good teams. I started playing in 5.2 so about a year ago and im 100% f2p. I started 36* abyss every cycle 4-5 months ago. You got it!

Yeah, planning is paramount for F2P players, but I would say getting 36 stars it's still pretty easy, as long as you don't go out of your way to brick your account, the real challenge is stygian. My last two accounts were totally f2P, the first took me 82 days and the second 36 days to get 36 stars.

Now with the Hexerei buffs I picked up an old account that I had at AR7 (just because It had klee in it). The goal this time is just to take it slow, read everything and pull only for characters that I like, and even then in three active months [I can already get full clears up to 12-2](https://imgur.com/a/eq34glI), I will definitely get 36 stars before this cycle ends, just need to level up a few characters/weapons/talents.

Edit: all 5 stars in the print are C0R0, except klee which is C1R0 (free con).

Edit2: finally got 36 stars, at 95 active days.

I managed to do floor 12 with a bum ass Flins/Ineffa/Columbina team. Flins and Columbina don't have a matching artifact set, Flins artifacts are mediocre anyway and Ineffa didn't have any equipped at all.

Yeah, 3 limited 5 stars is a big ask, but less than what you'd expect.

Neuvillette, Kazuha, Fischl and Layla

Columbina, Zhongli, Sucrose and Flins.

Only Neuvillette and Kazuha are C0R1.

Fischl and Layla have favonius. Both are at C6. Bow is at R5 and Sword at R3.

Columbina has the horn catalyst. I think it was an event weapon with HP% stat. Zhongli has the tussle. Sucrose uses Sacrificial and Flins uses Jade spear.

Congrats! I just got mine a few months ago. Now I’m working my way towards 36 stars. Hasn’t happened yet, but maybe when I get some cons onto my Neuvi in a couple of weeks. Hope you get there too! (Not suggesting that you focus strictly on meta btw, just saying that it happens eventually when you play long enough and get enough cons on your faves.)

It’ll happen at some point! I think anyone who puts the time into building their characters will eventually 36 star the abyss. Same for completing the lunar mode theater. The only truly can’t-do-without-the-meta-and-probably-whaling mode is the highest levels of the Stygian Onslaught.

Edit: I cleared mine with escoffierless skirk and Neuvillette Electro charged without any nod Krai and it went fairly comfortably so I'm pretty certain you could do it with some practice (if you're willing to put in the effort ofc).

Keep going! I just started to clear floor 12 myself. Not a perfect 9 star but its keeping better. My first time clearing floor 12 was the last phase, finished it with 30 stars. Now I just cleared it with 33 stars. I just also finished act 8 of the theater. But stygian is still very hard so still no chance clearing fearless difficulty.

Personally, I would have swapped zhongli to neuv, grabbed an electro sustain (dori/kuki) for Flins if you had. Given sucrose TTDS, and that's about it. Maybe fav for bina if you had trouble with energy.

It's cool to see clears for teams that aren't as optimized.

Nice, I really struggled this time since I was determined not to let Mavuika and Klee in this cycle and ...

I was asking why my Flins party on the first half so freaking weak when I have Flins sucrose, Aino and Ineffa, and they have an advantage over the enemies. They take more than two minutes so effectively needing to clear the other half within 30 seconds or less.

Then I remembered getting Ineffa 3 days prior, now at level 19 with no artifacts and at beginners protector :P
