Question

Hey guys, I’m a new genshin player, I’ve been a Hsr player for a few weeks now and wanted to give genshin a try too. I don’t understand what to look for when building characters, I don’t know which characters are dpses or not, but I got Mizuki as a standard character since I heard she’s a good character when it comes to traveling. What is she? A DPS? Healer? Sustain? And so, what should I look for in building her, what characters should I use for her to work best, (since I barely finished the blue captain guy’s quest.)

Mizuki is a driver. I've been playing for a year and i was only close to build her a team just recently.

She's not noob friendly, believe me

Build her a team with two hexenzircle witches, magues, or whatever you want to call them.

Like Mizuki, Fischl, Sucrose and Dahlia. Just the most unhinged team composition you can come up with.

The wiki has [this ](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Role)"character role" page related to the Imaginarium Theater, it let's you know the main roles of any character (at least their C0 versions) which is up to date on everyone except Columbina

Mizuki's described as an "On Field DPS/Surivability" character due to the healing related parts of her kit on being used on field mainly + swirl damage, would be best to at least skim through her kit if you use her often for more detail.

Hi'a! I feel the same way about hsr lmao. Anyways, characters from later regions may be hard to build (aka Mizuki- she's from Inazuma, the third country you visit in the story).

Blue captain guy goes pretty hard tbh, if you want to play meta and only have a few characters, he's one of my favorites. Mizuki is good to drive elemental reactions. So if you pop Kaeya's (blue guy) burst and then use mizuki's skill and run around the field, she'll start swirling ice everywhere.

As for building, artifacts are important! Mizuki likes the anemo artifact set in Mondstadt. Most anemo characters do. Kaeya likes the one at the top of of the snowy mountain near mondstadt but early game you can really build whatever.

Weapons use those weird trinket domain items to ascend.

Bosses are purely for character ascension.

Go to a web browser and type in “KQM (character name)”, like “KQM Diluc” and you’ll see an easy to understand infographic with weapons, artifacts, talents, and team members. It is a great way to get started.
