Why is this still a thing

i don't understand why we can't just repeat the same boss instead of waiting for a whole week on, i have fought dottore twice and i have gotten only one material for Columbina (the other one is from the first time clear), this also wouldn't be a problem if the dream solvent wasn't so rare as well

it's less restrictive in other hoyo gachas. In ZZZ you can even spend energy to kill as many as you want (first 3 kills are free)

Because players are really dumb, so game designers have to put in safety nets to prevent people from doing things the most efficient (and least enjoyable) way possible and then blaming the designers for making the game unfun.

One such safeguard is making big and involved tasks, like weekly bosses, refresh after a period of time so you don't burn yourself out doing it twenty times in a row.

Also so people who don't have the time to do it 20 times in a row don't feel like it's physically impossible to catch up.

I remember when Inazuma came out and people would 100% it in like 2-3 days as if that was normal and then complain about lack of stuff to do. The fastest I 100% a region was in a week with Nod Krai part 1 and then another 3-5 days with Nod Krai part 2 because of how small it is and the regional compass being a huge help. The larger regions I take like a month or more to 100%... If I do 100% them.

resin already does that doesn't it? there's no reason for them to limit rewards to once a week, something like hsr where you get three attempts per week but can use multiple of them on one boss or zenless where the first three attempts every week don't cost resin and then all future ones do would be nice and you can repeat bosses(also neither hsr nor zenless has rng invovled in the boss material drops which helps).

It comes with the HP inflation, when people can max level on day 1, the end game bosses will also be balanced to the max level characters. This is making it not casual friendly.

I don't disagree, I play Zenless too. But let's be real, the boss in Zenless is balanced for max skill level, you are going to have a bad time clearing with lv 2 or 3 skill. This is however not so in Genshin where talent 6 Columbina is plenty good to clear end game.

This is such a stupid, bootlicking take. Why shouldn't players be able to grind out materials if they want to? "Least enjoyable" is subjective. Many players enjoy playing the game this way, and it makes sense for a lot of people since they only get certain times in the month to freely play a game.

There's plenty of things you can grind infinitely for in the game already. And that hasn't stopped players from getting bored, has it? There's no reason to limit weekly bosses as well then. It's a stupid mechanic. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even grind like that. I just think that bootlickers like you are even worse than players who aren't afraid to criticize a billion dollar company.

And I like how people like you just randomly take offense to any criticism people have against this game, as if you single handedly programmed and made this game for years in your garage. You aren't Da Wei.
