I just pulled Ineffa for wheelchair Bineffa purposes. I have an unused Vortex Vanquisher I'm currently using on her because I saw a comment saying it's pretty good on her. Would it be worthwhile to craft an R5 shovel to use instead? My alternatives are stripping off PJWS off Arle (who I use occasionally), Homa off Hu Tao (who I rarely use these days), R1 Deathmatch (which will hit >100% crit rate on my Gilded Dream pieces) or Favonius Lance.

I have a pretty mediocre Gilded Dreams set with 133% ER and am in the process of farming the new Aubade set slowly. Should I strongbox for better Gilded Dream pieces or is it better to purely focus on Aubade or SMS? Would it be recommended to get higher ER to burst every rotation or is it fine to go every other in wheelchair teams?

Keking mains rate both Homa and then PJWS higher, deathmatch should be decent too although at low refinement loses some value.

As for VV vs shovel, it depends, VV should be better when ineffa is on field or nacent gleam team although it might be competitive with shovel otherwise too.

Sacrificer is already better than shovel, no need to craft.
Deathmatch is pretty much best, but you might still want that Sacrificer for the energy if solo electro

Fjords for hyperbloom i guess which isnt the normal way to use Ineffa

Quick question regarding Stygian Onslaught, above hard mode. Menace.
Is that difficulty strictly for constellations and signatures?

I have all Lunar based teams with their respective supports, artifacts are also good however I can only beat the electro shield Fatui but the dog and crab is a no, even when I have Nefer and Lauma plus Nahida and Columbina.

I don't go for constellations or signatures but I need those rare feathers for my artifacts and they are so hard to get.

No, not even close. Dire is the point where constellations and sigs start being necessary, and even that tends to be just *barely* within reach of C0R0 teams with phenomenal artifacts and gameplay. If you're failing the Menacing dog with a Nefer/Lauma/Nahida/Columbina team, you're doing something wrong.

No, not at all.

Menacing is around or slightly above the dps check of abyss 12. Fearless is another 40% or so on top of that. That's still within range of c0r0 standards, but it will come down to neutral-to-favorable matchups, good build quality, and good execution. Dire pushes all these things to a point where many players may need cons/sigs unless facing the shilled matchup of the moment (and even then).

If you have the premium Nefer team and they are well built, you should definitely be able to clear the abyss dog on fearless, let alone menacing.

By this I'm assuming Flins and Nefer premium? If so then you should be clearing the dog and the fatui even on fearless with relative ease. The crab, however, is a Neuvillette shill so you'll need him for, at most, fearless and above though I've seen people clear it with even less.

Definitely not. If you can't beat the dog with Nefer, Lauma and Bina that's a skill issue on your part whether it's you doing random rotations, your characters not being built properly etc. Are you hitting its summons perhaps? Ignore them and just focus the main dog, its shield takes like 3x damage from lunar attacks.

Hello guys! I don’t know which weapon to raise for Ineffa, I have to choose between Ballad of the Fjords(R1) or Prospector’s Shovel (R2), the problem is the Attk, I don’t think I can hit 2k attack with Ballad but without it she’ll drop to about 35% Crt rate, I’m using Deathmatch on her now but I’ll give it to Flins once I get him. I run her with Dps Columbina.

Sounds less like a weapon problem and more like an artifact one. She ascends with crit rate, giving her nearly 25 for free at a baseline. Even without a crit weapon, you should be able to pass 60 CR with artifacts alone ([e.g.](https://i.imgur.com/LWqqEox.png)).

I do believe Fjords is still better, and getting over 2k atk shouldn't be problematic. Are you using the correct mainstats?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've seen it doesn't matter *that* much who gets what when you run both in the same team, so you can pick based on (sub)stats you have.

35k hp and ER to burst on Columbina and whatever crit you can manage after that
Ineffa wants 2k atk, and whatever crit you can get, some EM is ok too but not a priority. ER to burst too but the reason you want it is the a4 buff, and duration on that is longer than burst cooldown
Ineffa is better with Aubade, cause Columbina is the one that tends to end up solo hydro so she wants SMS more, for the 2p ER, so more artifact stats can be used for HP and crit
unless somehow Columbina is more invested or you run a second hydro and/or you actually run someone with favonius and make it a habit to feed energy to Columbina
THEN you can afford to run Aubade on Columbina

I won my 75/25 on Yelan’s banner with the capturing radiance animation playing so I’m assuming I’m now starting back to a 50/50 ratio.

I lost my 50/50 on Durin’s banner to Dehya and I used my guaranteed to pull Columbina.

So now my ratio is 55/45 bc of the capturing radiance mechanic. I pulled Ineffa but the capturing radiance animation didn’t play.

Does this mean my ratio is still at 55/45 or is it back to 50/50?

Winning a 50/50 does not reset your radiance counter back to 1, you just get -1 to your total progress.

Only when you trigger CR your progress gets reset to 1.

Just say 50/50. There's some minute chance of CR, but we don't know the ratios. The whole 75/25 etc. was an early guess at how it might work, but those numbers didn't hold up when they did the big analysis that gave us the counter model.

Your counter should be at 1 now. Yelan CR (1) -> Dehya (2) -> Columbina (2) -> Ineffa (1).

(= 2 more losses until next one is guaranteed CR).

Who are the "best" 4th characters (damage-wise) on a Nefer+Lauma+Columbina team? Nahida? Sucrose? Kuki? Someone else? (No Ineffa).

What set for Columbina? New one or support one? I'm assuming Lauma or the 4th character will hold Deepwood and Nefer goes on the normal Nod Krai DPS set.

solo hydro Columbina, you really prefer SMS on her just for the 2p ER. unless you add some 4th teammate that is a second hydro or specifically holds favonius and you get into the habit of feeding energy to her

Both Nahida or Sucrose about same. There is also team with 20sec rotation on Sac Frag R5 with Diona (fav, deepwood).
For min-maxing Columbina on Serenade and Lauma is maxing EM with 2p.

How important is fps to Skirk? With other characters, high ping and low fps slow down my rotation without interfering with combos unlike skirk. The best combo I can do with skirk is N5Q N5D N5D N2CD N4.

The diamonds under the regular dew are basically just more dew. They get used by anything that costs dew once you're out of regular dew. Columbina's Moondew Cleanse CA and Nefer's Phantasm Performance CA interact with dew in exactly the same way.

They work exactly the same. Columbina's special "moons" (moonridge dew as opposed to the usual verdant dew) get consumed when you're out of normal dew, no matter which character.

Do y'all think Jean and Barbara's parents have potential to become playable characters? We've seen mention of them in game recently but we still haven't seen an actual 3d model.

Columbina on serenade. She needs the 2p ER, and Ineffa has higher personal damage so is a better recipient for selfish buff like gilded/aubade (which is a fair bit better than gilded and should be farmed eventually).

Fav or amber are both fine for Columbina. Amber is a bit better for personal damage, but fav pulls ahead if you can leverage the lower ER needs on Flins/Ineffa or lets you sneak in a Flins big burst occasionally.

She's built the same way as other lunar-focused characters: HP/HP/crit. In doing that, and especially with proto amber, you'll generally have no trouble reaching 35k HP to max out her moonsign passive.

Generally: ER to req > crit > HP > EM

No, it's definitely still possible. They reorganized some of the story stuff. Go to your quests and check the area that used to take you to character quests. I think they're all stored there.

But they moved all quests to be stored there. It's called quest overview now. You can go there and see story quests, travelers tales, old event quest stories, and, importantly, something called the travel log that lists all of the main story quests chronologically.

In the team of Skirk (c0, Finale), Shenhe (c1, TnO), Furina (c0, Serenity) & Escoffier, who should hold Tamayuratei no Ohanashi? Shenhe or Escoffier?

I will be pulling for Escoffier in 6.4 and probably should start preparing a weapon for her (she's guaranteed to come home this time). That got me thinking. People recommend TnO on her, but my Shenhe is currently holding it.

So who gets more value out of it and what weapon should the other character get?

Should I go Escoffier TnO, Shenhe Fav?

Or perhaps Escoffier Blackliff, Shenhe TnO?

Something else entirely like giving Jade Spear to sb? lol

And just on the side, while I don't think I'll be doing that, I'm curious how "worth it" are the BP weapons, swords and polearms?

And if the moons align that way, just how broken would Skirk+Escoffier weapon banner be?

I'd say the Neuvillette build is the best (aside from the fact he has no flower). For Ineffa just upgrade the pieces and we'll see then ig.
Columbina really wants 35k HP tho. Unless you play her in a double Hydro team that should be your first priority. Her sands is also pretty bad. I'd prioritise farming for her rn.

Technically they've only confirmed that it will run for a year during the 6.0 livestream, but I'd be very surprised if it isn't permanent. They'll probably just add more characters after the first 4 rounds.

Why does the PC version give you the option to change buttons for accept and back, but the xbox version doesn't? I have been playing for years on PC with B as accept and A as back and I hate that it's the opposite on XBox and I can't change it. I just want to play Genshin on my TV from time to time.

-Whichever you would be most interested in playing and actually use. All of the constellations are at least minor upgrades, and a constellation that you actually use is infinitely more valuable than one you don't.

-I personally like Baizhu's C1, because having two charges of the heal can help give you more flexibility in when you heal. I feel like it helps his energy issues as well a bit.

-Kokomi C1 really only if you're using her on field. Gateway to other constellations.

-Ayaka C1 doesn't do much. Mostly a stepping stone to her much better constellations.

-Same with Miko. Her C2 is good. Her C1 is meh. If they let you get constellations for characters you've already done in the future, Miko/Ayaka may be worth it just to get to their later constellations.

-Mona has stronger constellations thanks to her recent buffs. Particularly her C4.

-All other standard characters

-Characters you don't like.

I love Ayaka (I mained her before), Miko (Pulled her but haven't really minmaxed her despite the fact I like her a lot) and Kokomi (she's my favorite char if we don't count Furina). However I don't think I'll get constellations for them (maybe C2 Yae Miko at some point?). I don't really use Baizhu anymore in my Nefer team (Nefer, Columbina, Lauma, Kuki), so I'm not sure. I like Mona too, but since I'm two constellation away from her C4, I'll have to get her on a banner or wait for the anniversary (I don't know who to use with her, I have C0 Columbina and C2 Furina).

The characters in that list are not the strongest at the moment, and their constellations are not as impactful as later character constellations became. There can also be characters that have a good upgrade from their c1, but if you don't use them all that much then it wouldn't really be a worthwhile use of the upgrade.

Fjords is 1-2% more damage, but they're pretty close so it doesn't really matter which you choose.

However you should note Fjords affects team building slightly. Teams that follow the pattern of `<Electro/Hydro>/Ineffa/Columbina/<Electro/Hydro>` will disable the buff.

This means taking some extra care with Flins and Nuevilette team building.

Im just concerned with the Deathmatch's enemy restriction: 2 or more enemies and your attack will be reduced due to the passive. This will probably put Fjords further since most of Deathmatch calcs are assuming 1 enemy?

The question now is: *which will I encounter more?* 2+ enemies (which lowers Deathmatch's ATK buff)

or restricting myself to 2 elemental types in a team? (which disables Fjords' EM buff)

Columbina and Ineffa will 99% of the time be together already, so its a matter of adding one more element or fighting less than 2 enemies.

Personally I'd go with Fjords. As I think about it, you have some great other-element options (Sucrose for Flins, Xilonen/Kazuha for Nuevilette) so it seems reasonably easy to avoid that situation.

All good, I specifically mentioned those two (I guess Varessa too) since they're the strongest Electro/Hydro DPS.

Any other element DPS you use will keep the Fjords buff up with Columbina + Ineffa (that's 3 elements!) so you don't even need to think about the buff, it'll always be up.

My team of furina, columbina, ineffa and sucrose is only doing 40k dps 😭 I’m ar 59 and all are lvl 90 except bina and ineffa who are 80, Furina is 46k hp, bina is 42k, ineffa’s atk is 1.5K and sucrose em is 800. Is it just my rotation or something? All talents are level 6ish

Lore wise it's not necessarily about being a Nod Krai native. Nefer is from Sumeru, for one.

On the mechanics side, the main thing to understand is that character talents that say they are *considered lunar-whatever damage* go through a different damage formula than usual. Normal dmg% buffs do not apply, only general lunar or lunar crystallize buffs, and these are additive with EM. The basic scaling stat (e.g. DEF on Zibai) and crit work as usual.

Guys, I have a big problem. Endfield controller controls are so different that Im having trouble adjusting back. I tried using mouse and keyboard for Genshin while it is doable for me, its a bit difficult to clear spiral abyss and IT. Is it possible to get used to it?

Edit: I just realize that combat button can be changed in genshin. so at least thats taken care of, maps and other feature might need some time to get adjusted

Edit2: After a while, my muscle memory kicks in and press the original button instead of the newly adjust button. So i proceed to reset to default but there's still tendecy to press Endfield control. If this keep up then I think ill just play on mobile for Genshin (since Endfield heat up my phone)

My luck has been very strange in this patch — I got Columbina, I got Ineffa (c1 accidentally) and got her sig (even though it was a YOLO pull and I was going after Bina’s catalyst. I’ve been really liking the Lunar Charged team, but in terms of vertical investment — is Ineffa’s sig good (considering I already have Staff of Homa), what would’ve been the best vertical investment for an Ineffabina team?

I’ve been a day one F2P player who’s gone on and off of the game. I came back and was very behind in good/meta teams. Only ones I had to could keep up were a full Mavuika team and an old Hutao c1 team. Neither are practical on general use, so I mostly use my Nahida hyperbloom for exploration.

Who would be better for my needs, Columbina or Neuvillette? I have a little over 90 draws.

For reference, my current Hydros I own are Furina, Mualani, Mona, and every 4 star thus far.

For Lunar characters, I only own Lauma and Aino. I'm really struggling against nod-Krai enemies. So I'm wondering if Columbina would be the better investment, or if I should wait for another lunar character? Can I get by with just Lauma and Aino for now? Training Lauma is a pain given the boss I need to fight for her mats.

On the other hand, getting a second hydro DPS, especially one as easy to use as Neuv would be fantastic. I hear he goes well with Furina. Is he still meta useful?

In the long term, I also want to save for Varka and Escoffier, and Skirk if I can. But that's a longer ways off. Would it be better to save for them? I'm lacking in 5\* Cryo excepting Citlali.

Leaning towards either Columbina or save. If you're struggling with lunar enemies then a lunar DPS would probably be more useful to you, but you can make a Columbina/Lauma team work. On the other hand, the other characters you mentioned should be rerunning soon, hopefully next patch, so it also wouldn't be a bad idea to save instead.

Neuvillette is still good but Mualani outclasses him as a hydro DPS tbh.

Go for Columbina. It's better to pull for characters that you like, especially in early game. If you're lucky you might also be able to pull Zibai in the 2nd half banners, who works great as the main dps in Columbina teams. If you miss Zibai, you can just wait 1-2 patches for one of the other lunar dps to rerun.

They are both very powerful units that pretty much get attached at the hip when you get them. Furry na isn't necessary, though she helps a lot. Skirk/Escoffier at C0 with other hydro team members is essentially one of the strongest C0 teams out there, but your team building is a bit more limited.

Escoffier works to buff pretty much any cryo DPS though, so any cryo units that come out in the future that aren't built specifically for melt (since she needs freeze teams) will benefit from her. Skirk works without Escoffier, but she's much stronger with her.

Personally I wouldn´t recommend them if only for meta reasons.

If you like these characters and the game-team style then it´s a good option but the dps ceiling has been pushed further in NC and the upcoming units are likely to continue so, at this point of the meta, a well rounded Skirk team with Furina, Escoffier barely makes it to the top 5 and will continue falling once Sandrone, Alice etc show up.

Does anyone else find endgame to be easy compared to ZZZ/HSR? Just started playing recently after a break so have no Natlan/Nod Krai characters, but was pretty easy to get 35 stars in Abyss with my old characters with their old sets from pre-Fontaine.

Admittedly haven’t tried Stygian/Imaginarium yet so can’t speak on that, but was surprised how easy Abyss felt compared to what I’ve been dealing with in the other 2 games tho that may just be due to me abusing the elemental reactions.

Different abyss cycles can be harder than others, but 35 and even 36 stars is pretty achievable with moderate investment and skill. Imaginarium Theater is technically easier, but depending on your luck it can take some creative team building and strategy to get full stellas on.

Stygian Onslaught is the true endgame. Up through Menacing is roughly about the same difficulty as 36 star abyss (or harder if you don't have the right type of characters for the enemies). Fearless is the hardest a non-whale can hope to complete, and even then you probably need a few constellations or limited weapons. Dire is purely for the whales. Stygian is very built around having the right teams to beat very specific boss mechanics, and it can be tough depending on the kinds of characters you've invested in. That being said, highly skilled players can work around the mechanics more than people realize.

Depends on the investment on your previous teams and the type of Abyss. Some Abyss are completely shilled to the point that it´s almost impossible to 36\* without newest character gimmicks or without a lot of investment in older characters.

Styngian is another level, getting pull currency is very easy but clearing highest difficult is only possible with a lot of investment both vertical and horizontal, particularly in the newest, shilled characters.

But Miliastra Wonderland has made it so that endgame might be costumed by player base instead of just clearing the game´s stuff.

The main problem is that the reaction rate and the timing of skill could be very tricky, and adding electro will make this team trigger less lunar-crystallize. When enemy has hydro-electro aura, geo will react with electro first, and it may not be able to trigger lunar-crystallize reliable. You also lose Zhongli's resistance shred. It still work definitely, but it is hard to say who is better. You can always test them in testing dummy map anyway.

Yoimiya c1 is pretty worthless.
Yae Miko c4 is 20% electro damage for the whole team and easily keeps full up time, this is quite nice but won't allow any new teams like c6 Mona will.

I found Yoimiya’s C1 quite helpful. At C0, I only occasionally got her curse mark to a second enemy. Now I get three- or four-enemy chains. (Most of her cons boost her Burst.)

The last thing I did for the Saurian companion quest was leave the mountain place (when you get to decide for the Saurian whether or not he wants to destroy the world for the dragons). If you don't have the quest Someday, We All Must Walk Alone then you're still missing something. It gets automatically added to your quest log when you've done all the pre-reqs. Like I said you can try asking support what you're missing if you don't wanna double check everything yourself.

You can throw Mona in as your 4th with Columbina, Ineffa, and Sucrose for now. tbh, Columbina and Ineffa are strong enough on their own that you won't need Flins for Abyss, obviously pull for him if you like him, but a character to build a second team around might be a better investment.

for a second team your best option for now is probably Gaming, Chevreuse, Fischl, Iansan.

I wouldn't really call that cheese; I would say it's how you're expected to do the fight? You don't *have* to use the rifts if your damage is high enough that direct attacks clear faster, but using them as soon as they appear is the default.

Does anyone know of a team that can apply electrocharged even more rapidly than a Fischl/Xingqiu/Yelan/Clorinde team? This is for fighting the fireblade shock trooper in the stygian.

Both Xingqiu and Yelan have enough ER that I can get both their bursts going from the first rotation as long as Xingqiu’s sacrificial sword triggers its ability while hitting just before it first puts up its shield.

I thought that having Oz, both Xingqiu and Yelan bursts, and Clorinde’s rapidly attacking skill would be enough to break the fireblade’s shield but even that isn’t enough to break the shields before it goes into its instant kill attack sequence.

I simply can’t even think of any team that could possibly apply electrocharged any faster than the one I used and yet it still isn’t enough, does anyone have any tips?

I don’t have any lunar charged characters so I can’t use that.

The shield regenerates if you haven’t triggered electrocharged on it in a bit. It gets removed based on damage. So change the team around to focus on damage with a bit of electrocharged instead of a lot of electrocharged but not damage.

Electro-Charged ticks at a fixed tick rate, no matter how fast your application is, as long as you maintain the auras. Focusing on application rate is the wrong approach.

The trooper's shield dies to damage. Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged get a Reaction DMG Bonus buff and nerf its regen, but trying to actually break the shield with Electro-Charged damage isn't practical. You need to hit the shield with more damage, not more reactions. Electro damage is best, since it resists everything else.

Saying this about C2 Raiden probably makes me a bad person, but I think it might be Instructor Raiden, Morningstar Bina+Ineffa, and Silken Moon Lauma. To be kind to Raiden you should just put her on Sky's Unveiling though.

To be honest, Lauma is pretty questionable. You want electro shred in that slot. Sucrose is the obvious pick for damage, in which case Sucrose gets VV and Silken Moon goes to Raiden, but that gets rid of your healing. If you want a healer then you could consider Jean or Jahoda or Xilonen in that slot. Not sure if Xilonen would run Scroll or not.

Hey yall. I'm not a new player really, I dont exactly remember when I started but it was pre zhongli maybe day 1? I dont remember, it's besides the point. I have a love hate relationship with this game and have a weird habit of playing it pretty much only when im sick (recently ive picked up hsr while sick too). Ayaka c1 vs Kokomi c1 for the free cons selection? I can only pick between these two, and I don't play either of them anymore really but neither do I use the rest of the standard characters and they don't feel as "worth it" since I can always get them through standard and losing 50/50. My Diluc is at c3 which is my highest standard constellation. I might get Durin on his rerun so maybe Mona c1 could be useful at some point. Advice from anyone?

They're both just minor upgrade to their damage. Kokomi's C1 does have seperate ICD so it can help with breaking pyro shields, and Ayaka's C1 brings her closer to her C2, honestly choose whatever since you dont use any of them.

expensive statstick, passive is negligible, outright useless without Columbina/Zibai
but not that bad if you lose after aiming for Neuvillette weapon
Xilonen sig might still be beter considering the possibility of teamwide damage buff and a lot of defense
but Zibai sig should technically be better than Primordial Jade cutter(useless passive too) cause the crit damage is equivalent to PJC crit rate, with the added def% on top

Recently been exploring Nodkrai and can I ask if the other regions I skipped before (Natlan, the added Liyue and the island) is as generous with the treasures as well? All of them should be roughly the same. Nod Krai appears more generous since its maps are smaller and there are less treasure chests overall. Sumeru has more common chests but they have a far larger number of chests overall in contrast.

That said if you want to frontload the rewards and be 'easier', Natlan would be next to go as there is where some changes were made.

I would say no, but don't quote me on that. Lunar crystallise hy itself isn't that big of a deal but I haven't played around with it or seen much of it yet to say for sure.

If you want to unbench Albedo it's better to play him in a hex core instead. Ideally it is with Durin, but Fischl and Albedo post hex buff would be able to do decently. Sucrose with Albedo is also fine in vape teams.

Ifa's A1 passive gives bonus Swirl/EC/LC damage based on the total NS points of the entire party. In order to get value from using Ifa, you really want someone like Ororon in the party who has NS points that constantly refill instead of just running out.

It's just become the generally accepted threshold in the theorycrafting community for when a team becomes decently strong, as it generally gives you enough dps to tackle most endgame fights so long as the boss is favorable to your setup.

Now that we have more easily accessible in-game training dummies thanks to Miliastra Wonderland (a side mode focused around user-generated content), the barrier to entry for checking your team's dps has become a lot lower. As a result, the talks surrounding team dps output has grown.

More theorycrafters entered the scene and there are more competing calcs than ever. There's also been some misleading calcs to push an agenda. A lot players are using those calcs to judge character strength and 100K is the arbitrary benchmark for "strong". No Abyss has ever needed 100K DPS to clear, the current Abyss is 56K.

The 100K is theory dps that you get from numbers calculator, assuming you also have "average" artifact quality. This "average" is so average that at least half of players who care to build stats on characters don't even have it.
You can easily confirm it by just going to new milastra dps test maps and see how "100K dps" is actually 70-80K. Just because you don't have 400 CV, or because you play bad, or because with ping it takes 1 second more to swap characters than in theoretical excel sheet, or because your support 4-star is not C6 with R5 favonius.

The dps race is not what players started, it's boss HP inflation. 12-3 dog boss or knuckle-duckle has 5.615.321 HP. If we compare to "late Sumeru" Baptist boss in 12-3 had 1.386.500 HP
Then it went to 2M Copella and 2.3M Drake in Fountain and continued.

You can even compare exact same enemy: Veteran Mek in 6.2 has 3.161.221 HP, and exact same Mek on exact same 12-3 abyss stage was 2.107.481 HP. So if you could defeat that boss in 4.5 with units you pulled, you need exactly 1.5x times more dps now.

Sure, probably. Hoyo picked the current set of characters for being outdated and not very profitable to run banners for, so drip-feeding freebie cons for these doesn't hurt their bottom line much and is likely even a positive since it gets people to engage long-term. And naturally, more characters become dated/powercrept as time passes.
