I'm confused about the recent AQ

I don't understand how Columbina managed to get out of the moon's reflection. I understood the parts how the kuuvahki, trilune authority and a piece of her soul had to get together, but what I didn't understand was HOW did she get kuuvahki to Nod-Krai, since she couldn't escape the place alive. Similarly, HOW did she hide the trilune authority on the moon?
I assumed she "died" once she laid down in the pool, transfering herself into kuuvahki, but once you're dead it is outside of your control to direct it to a specific place. Her soul was still entrapped there, which means her consciousness was there as well and once kuuvahki escaped the moon's reflection it was outside of her domain of control.
Furthermore, how did the trilune authority get out? She hid it on the moon, but how did she get it out, when the moon sisters never could? I thought they couldn't escape since they had trilune, and once they got rid of it, Columbina could get them out, but how did she control where the trilune ends up after she died?
Also, where is her consciousness? The way I understood it is that a huge part of Columbina's soul was imprisoned with no way to get it out, so her reincarnation only has a very small part of her soul, while the rest is still in the moon's reflection, which means that her present form is only a clone while her true self is still in prison, right?
