That's good Columbina Hiposelenia, but my wife's waiting for me
Can't do it. I like you too. You fight with Citlali
She, literally, lives alone 'couse she's just bored of winning against everyone one who tries to fight her.

Can someone translate? My Japanese isn't good enough to understand what she's saying.

Well, I'm specifically talking about the first line. When we "find" her name, she appears in front of the traveler and says "suki dayo."
En translate it into "I like it," referring to the name. But JP (and i believe CN as well) dub is just "I like". And can be easily read as something she says to the traveler.
Hoyo doesn't translate its VA interviews, but maybe someone on youtube will sub it later. (It mostly usual staff like how popular genshin is, what the dub process was like, and how Lynn likes Sandrone)

It's because Japanese language often omits the subject to keep the sentences concise, relying on the context to convey the meaning. In this case, the "Suki da yo" still translates to "I like it".

Misunderstanding said context is a popular anime romance trope, and it's completely lost in EN translation. That's the whole point.

How it's completely lost in translation when EN actually translate it into "I like it"

My Japanese isn’t that great either, but she says roughly along the lines of “I like it (her name). That’s why from now on, call me by it. My name is Columbina Hyposelenia…”

Unless an actual Japanese person standing front of him and actually says it, he’s not gonna believe anyone lol
