Who should I pick?

Dehya, Tighnari, Qiqi, Diluc is out. Keqing is also out because c4 is too far away.

I would like to have c6 Mona eventually, but c5 is not that great.

I would also like to have higher jean cons but I don’t have any anemo DPS. Not sure how useful her c4 is.

Originally I was planning to wait until I pull for Skirk and Escoffier and see if I get c5 Mona or C4 Jean and then decide. Or wait for Liyue buffs to see if Hu Tao’s c2 gets a good buff. But there is no time for either of that.

Any idea who should I pick?

Mona, Jean or Hu Tao? Or Yae Miko?

I think Hu Tao (warning I'm no expert)
But from memory she even C1 hutao is a huge boost and it also seems like it's the character that needs less constellations for them to good according to your list.

And rule of cool, I like hutao and I remember when some team builds make her dish out some HUGE damage so any boost to her would be good.

Yaemiko would probably be my 2nd pic just cause she is cool

I had to choose between Mona, ayato and Hu Tao and I chose Hu tao

I do have Arlecchino and Mavuika, so for now I don’t have a reason to pull or use Hu Tao. I am counting on buffs for her to be competitive again. If buffs are going to come when the next reward is due, getting it now would be useless.

If she does eventually get a buff you’ll get her constellation then, you don’t need it now, Mona is the most valuable right now because skirk and Escoffier will run in 6.4

Judging by everything you've said, it seems Hu Tao is the best choice over all. Since she doesn't require too many constellations and plus a chance that she will be boosted.

Idk whether you have some stronger pyro dps than Hu Tao or not and whether you prefer them over Hu Tao, if you like Hu Tao and do / will play Hu Tao then get Hu Tao. If you won’t play Hu Tao / don’t like Hu Tao then get Yae instead of Hu Tao. Mona will eventually come home anyway

I have Mavuika and Arlecchino. I still like Hu Tao but I don’t think I will play her even with c2 until buffs.

Well no, Yae overall is pretty damn bad, I would honestly consider her in top 10 in the weakest / nichest event 5*, C6 Fischl and Ineffa nearly always perform better both as dps and for reactions, C1 is a pretty good consta tho.

But yeah, it’s for you to decide I guess. I would probably still get Yae if I was you, you said that you have and use Mavu and Arle much more often so getting C2 Hu Tao wouldn’t be the wisest choice and getting Mona… well…. Personally I don’t like the idea of getting a standard characters’ constas in this event, you can always lose your 50/50 to her yk

from the very limited options you have and considerign you used already the first option for one of the characters you cant pick anymore, the remaining 3 options best for you would be.

* Hu Tao
* Mona
* Yae Miko

and Mona only, because shes the closest for you to get to C6 to become your first 50/50 Fail Option, that can net you in Masterless Stella in the future, because its the only permanent source the game offers, to that everyone has access to all the time, thats not limited to access of specific Event Banners being there first

Is her c1 that good? I should have mentioned that I have both Arlecchino and Mavuika, so right now Hu Tao doesn’t really play any role, I am counting on the buff for her to play a role in the future.

Hu Tao C1 just lets you more comfortably use her Chaege Attack Spam, because you won't run out of Stamina anymore, which improves her DPS potential, because you don't need to make any breaks anymore, just use her E and spam her Drill Flight Attacks.

Yae Miko's C1 massively reduces her Energy Costs for her Burst basically as long you make sure, you always burst, when all or 3 Foxes are our, because then you will regain immediately from your 80 Energy you used up 24 back, 8 per Fox that was out when you used your Burst, which is huge, getting literally your Burst Costs reduced from 80 down to 56, which helps alot with her Energy Management, so that you need alot lesser ER%, which you can then in return spend in better Crit Stats, like Crid DMG, if your CR% is already very good, to improve her DPS potential.

Yae Miko is easy to play and a nice AFK DPS unit that helps you to keep up a continous DoT with her 3 foxes, which is now with Lunar Charge a nice option also for constant Electro Application, while playing self for a moment a Hydro Character like Columbina, Kokomi, Yelan or Furina, before switching back to either her to renew some foxes, or to your Electro Main DPS, like Flins, Ineffa or Raiden. So, both help to smoothen the Gameplay for each of those two characters, in the end it depends on which of the two you simply like more, which you play more oftenly, useful are both constellations the same, but gameplaywise is imo Yae Miko easier and more comfortable to play, because shes not reliant on being so selfdestructive, like Hu Tao, just to deal good damage.

Yae Miko's burst sure isn't compareable to that insane powercreep of a Mavuika or a Skirk, and is not one of the strongest, Hu Tao's is stronger definety. but it does multiple hits, thus is more useful against targets that required of you more dealing more hits, than doing just single hits

On R10 she has Skill DMG Multiplier % of 468% and the Thunderbolt does like 601% DMG. With 3 Foxes out, the Thunderbolt hits 3 times. Sure, her Burst isn't effectively her main damage source, that are still the 3 foxes, But with her C1 using her Burst becomes less energy problematic, and smoother to usem, because you will have it always ready, when needed, without having to wait too long of having to regain first energy, at which poin,t you will want to rather switch back to an other Character, if her Energy wasn't ready, when you needed it the most, to waste no DPS, if the foxes are still fresh enough, where with C1, it will be ready to use, when needed, so that you burst and first then switch to an other character, while using the burst allows you to instantly set up 3 new foxes.

PS. btw. did a typing/math error, I always forget that Yae Miko is together with Raiden one of the two unique Characters with 90E Burst Costs her Burst has a 90E Costs, so her C1 reduces it from 90 to 66, not like I said from 80 to 56 xD, but thats still massive, thats like a 25% reduction of her energy costs

I just realised that I'm not gonna be able to claim it :( I rejoined the game not too long ago but I've definitely missed out on this event, I could get to stage 4 by the time it ends .

Also why is this post down voted? Wtf is wrong with the community?
