Tierlist on which characters can beat an Abyss Herald/Lector

Traveler beat an Abyss Herald right after Liyue AQ, Skirk beats multiple in her trailer (not sure if canon but she propably could anyway).
Didn't put too much thought into the order in each row tbh.

Gauging strength with some characters is weird, Nahida for example has never really showed any combat prowess but we can assume she has some kind of Irminsul fuckery she can use to deal with it.
Ninguang used some kind of geo missles in the AQ againt osial but how effective they were is kind of hard to say. Also all Natlan Characters have always lived in a war againt the abyss, so they are basically all Soldiers who know how the abyss behaves (even tho Abyss Order is part of they abyss, it sources its strength from it).
I'm surely not aware of all feats of every Character so I kind of decided by vibe for some of them.

Klee should be much higher than that... she's one of the top strongest non-archon characters known. She's so ridiculously powerful that she could take on one of the Harbingers and ironically come on top.

The biggest misinterpretation i'm noticing here has to be Noelle. She has superhuman strength and resistance. Imo she should go in the "most likely wins" tier.

Secondly, abyss heralds are strong, but they are not not a type of exclusive enemies that would stand out as a special entity that could pose issues to the combat proficent members of the characters cast. Imo most if not all the characters in the "most likely wins" category should move up to "definitely wins".

Lastly, i don't see how Clorinde, as strong as she is, is considered stronger than other characters that are considered the strongest humans in their nations like Chasca, Varka, Kinich and Cyno.

They should both be there. Childe can definitely defeat an abyss lector, he stayed in the abyss for 3 months and defeated abyss monsters there

Dunno why Clorinde is above Varka tho, not so sure about her

Clorinde is one of the strongest humans in Teyvat, she nonchalantly beat childe in a dual during Fontaine while not even going all out. She's also a descendant of Marechausse Hunter, a clan that has ridiculous feats such as overthrowing King Remus and wiping out basically all ancient monsters in Fontaine. Clorinde is also in her prime while Xiao has been getting eroded for thousands of years and is far from his peak.

Varka should be in Clorinde's category though.

Not exactly lost but since Clorinde wasnt interested in the duel it bored Childe and the duel ended, because Clorinde just gave up, thats why I said Childe won. How tf did you reach the conclusion that Childe was defeated he was literally disappointed, and you talk about headcanon im crine. Also it wasnt an official duel

So Clorinde fought Childe (neither of them were going all out) and her ancestors have accomplishments. That's what's putting her above Xiao (not even a human with combat experience exceeding her entire lifespan), feats of other people and a fight where none of the combatants were fully serious?

I'd say Furina and Noelle can win. Furina has the feat of fighting a local legend while being new to using her vision. She didn't win, but it goes to show her potential. Current Furina is not the same person as she was before. Noelle on the other hand has always been immensely physically strong and would probably manhandle a herald/lector if she had to fight them.

Sethos is comparable enough to Cyno that he will easily win.

Mona is also the *star* disciple of a Hex mage, she also is winning this easily.

How are Noelle and Chongyun in the last tier? Below Collei and Jahoda!?!?😭

To be fair, she killed it over multiple days with her full crew and ship wearing it out and basically landed the killing blow.

Still impressive for a human of course but she's not some 1v1 god slayer like some people think

**Hutao** was literally casting a spell to suppress a god and has secret Arts to deal with death coming out of her wazoo? Not to mention she canonically wields the spear of Homa. Please go look up what that spear is. Not to mention that if needed, we know this girl is willing to just trade her life to get the job done.

**Furina** is also way higher, she's a summoner, one of which is basically a statue of the seven/remnant of her own divinity. Her summons are canonically as strong as they are in game too. Also look up who Furina's sword used to belong to, it was Errineyas, the Lochknight and later Marechausse Hunter that overthrew King Remus.

**Klee** would no diff a lector, she has bombs strong enough to Terra form the land, she canonically gets sent out to solo abyss disorders, she is also blessed with absurd luck where she blew up an entire building without a vision and came out completely unscathed. She is also literally Alice's daughter.
