Remembrance and the fragrance of Osmanthus
“But this is the only Rite of Parting to take place for one of the Seven in three thousand, seven hundred years. As such, I do think we should honor tradition down to the last detail.”- Zhongli Chapter I: Act I- Of The Land Of Monoliths.
Am I to take this as admittance that the funerary rite isn’t exclusive to Liyue as a tradition? But rather, a ceremony for Teyvats Pantheon? Or does he mean that this is simply the first ceremony held for the passing of one of Teyvats Gods in general?
I’m curious because there was no mention (to my knowledge) of any specific cultural/religious(?) ceremonies held when the other gods passed (Makoto, Egeria, Focalors, Etc).
