People joining my world to claim encounter points

It has happened like 2 or 3 times already, but this patch some folks started entering my world, say they're just claiming encounter points, then leaving immediately after.

People asking to enter my world is quite normal since it's in my signature that I let people take free mats, I'm not farming for anyone and don't need it so I have no problem sharing some; but these folks are confusing me. Why enter co-op just to claim encounter points??? Is there some new feature related that I missed the memo about it??? Is this some meme prank or something? What's going on?

They're joining to level their characters' friendship faster since you get double exp in coop.

So you join co-op and then just kill some certain monsters?

You join coop and click on the button to claim your daily commissions/encounter points.

Claiming the encounter points from the book in co-op gives double friendship points. It's fast and easy. I do this every day with characters I need to increase friendship for. When I don't feel like looking for a random player who's willing to let me in, and none of my friends are available, I just join a weekly domain co-op and claim it there (obviously helping with the fight too).

you get double xp in coop. But I normally do it when queueing for a domain or boss instead of joining random worlds since most of the randoes will reject you anyway. Queueing is faster and you won't get rejected.
