Have we ever talked about Istaroth's hands?

I just rewatched [The Gods Limits](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndhNZ0ue0kE) again and noticed how gray Istaroth's hands are.
Are even the shades noticing some effect of corrosion?
Is this some remnant from the Funery War/Cataclysm?
Maybe even some abyssal curse?

Now that I think about it, in the recent pic of Naberius posted, one of her hands is black with blue lines. (Like Dainsleif I think?)

And unknown god has weird red stuff going on with one arm I think too.

Yeah. All the Shades have unique designs on their hands and arms.

Even before she was absorbed, Naberius’s arms started off as a light blue and darkened —to black— as they traveled down her to her hands. She also had these circuit-like designs on them.

Ronova’s arms/hands are black and sport ‘dormant’ eye motifs. She also has these super long fingernails. When she uses her power, her arms begin glowing red which also makes the eyes ‘awaken’.

Istaroth’s hands are a light shades of purple and sport the same golden decorations scattered around her body—like her arms and legs.

Asmoday’s left arm/hand has the same pattern that the cubes have. In fact, these beginning scenes with her actually make it look like a glove as her palm has a pale red scheme/texture that looks like leather.

— Her right forearm and hand also have that same scheme that her left palm does. Oh and it also has a star-motif that Genshin [and ZZZ] likes to use.

All of the Shades have weird hands/arms. I don't have any theories as to what it means, but it's a design element that's common between all four of them.

At this point it is impossible to tell. Maybe its a curse, maybe its injury, maybe its a deal with some other being, maybe its just how it looks, etc. The possibilities are endless since we have too little information

I remember an old theory that Asmoday was also partially corrupted by the Abyss. I suppose it's possible, they did fight Nibelung and probably helped with the Calamity. Who knows what they went through VS the 3rd Descender

Istaroth we can see, probably abyssal corrosion/corruption based on simple visuals.

Ronova has white eye patterns in dormant state which turns red when she uses her authority.

Asmoday has red blocks/cubic patterns in one of her arms.

Naberius/Rhine has one black arm with blue/yellow patterns.
