funnily enough, due to some bad editing in columbina's character stories, it's implied that lauma's predecessor was the leader of the frostmoon scions when columbina left them for the fatui, because it says that arlecchino had joined at around the same time, meaning bina was part of the fatui for 20 years or so.
This is probably because arlecchino was originally intended to be an immortal who joined a little less than 500 years ago, but it's still funny to think about.

There is only one Arlecchino. The previous Knave was called Crucabena. They share the codename Knave but Arle is called Father while Crucabena was called Mother by the HotH.

I think /u/EffectiveMirror7534 was referring to old VA leaks where Peruere/Crucabena was a single character; in that iteration of Genshin's internal writing Crucabena did not exist, but Peruere had Crucabena's personality and was the ~320 years old Arlecchino
 
Note this same set of leaks have been spot on for Rooster & Snezhnaya lore revealed in Luna IV. While I think it's fine for miHoYo to revise their lore (since it was all leaks anyway), it does help explain some of the inconsistencies in writing.
 
It explains why Sandrone, Rosalyn & Arlecchino are so close, even though Arlecchino is hundreds of years younger than the rest of the girl harbinger group. Arlecchino being ~320 in her original conception could explain this.

Yeah but the same set of leaks also mentioned things like the Kresnik torch heating Snezhnaya which were mentioned by Columbina in Luna IV, they basically got it right 2 years ahead. Same leaks also mentioned Rooster cursing Pantalone out, which again Columbina mentions in her about voicelines.
It's quite specific information that is hard to guess.

"The Knave" is also a title, but for the leader of the House of the Hearth. The current nave is also Peruere.
To my understanding. Crucabena (the previous 4th harbinger and Knave) actually went by her HoTH title of "The Nave" when working as a harbinger. Whether or not she was named after the Venetian Masquerade mask "Arlecchino" doesn't seem to be mentioned. I got all this from the wiki and in-game lore.
