Girl that’s not fanservice, that’s the whole gacha model at work. Genshin isn’t even that bad in this regard unless Columbina upset you, she seems to have done that to many.
Stay clear from gacha if you want to avoid that whole ordeal. They thrive on self inserts.
Try actual JRPG’s. Xenoblade 1 and 3 are very good at this, so are the Final Fantasy games in general. Plenty of others out there.

But at the same time doesn't want "power of friendship" solutions to tough situations and enemies where all the characters work together...
So they want an insanely OP MC that solves all issues and beats all enemies solo, while also being an MC that just sits on the sidelines and watches all the other characters interact with and be close to each other

More like the power of a thought out plan of action executed by a group of skilled and motivated people. It's not like any of them got a power up a la fairy tail just because Columbina said Nod Krai was about family and friendship. That's her own personal journey.
