Imaginarium Theater appreciation

This is just my second time clearing lunar mode since its a pyro/electro cycle which my account thankfully has plenty of (Don't ask about Geo/Dendro cycles). Lunar mode feels just the right balance of having a bit of game knowledge while just being casual enough to not be sweating although this is obviously balanced by the character requirement. I'm a launch player and while I am not whale but I do welkin and during 1.X days I used to buy the battlepass. I really like theater where it rewards you for building characters and not just shilling the banner character of the cycle. I don't have all the characters but this mode still gives me a bit of a push to at least level up some of my 4\* and get decent artifacts from domains I've never even bothered to touch (or recycle). I like also the fact that there is a place for my non-meta units (DPS Dehya/Klee/Kaeya etc) to shine. For newer players I do feel theater would be their last priority to clear since they don't have the resources to level multiple units at once. Overall I like this horizontal account investment endgame.

for me whenever it has anemo. i just don't pull anemo dps ever.

Anemo is 90% just supports though, it's almost never anemo dps focused unlike hydro or pyro theaters, and there isn't really an anemo shill boss. Anemo is there to actually help you most of the time.

Meanwhile most pyro or hydro shill bossses are polarizingly difficult for other elements, and some are actually impossible without them.

Pyro/hydro shill bosses have the worst designs in this game, but most people don't care since a lot of the popular chars are already this element, but if you are someone that doesn't like/have them you really notice it. Like i have to borrow a furina every time there is that damn bird, just so it can actually land.

Same. COuldn't beat any visionary that had geo in it. Until lunar arcana. Only one I completed had geo... Don't ask me how I did that.

i think the most fun i had was with electro dendro and cryo. i had to sweat hard and optimize like crazy and it was actually really fun. definitely the best mode

IT is nice when the elements they select work well with each other naturally. Either that or they create new reactions like rimegrass to buff those character. Otherwise using geo-dendro etc teams feels so ass, even if there's res shred or dmg buff

Theatre is okay but I only have in for fully built. We can guess who that is.

Aside from that, I’m going to try to build Zhongli and Noelle.

Also do people still like Gorky and Yujin? Or do we really need Navia for the team?

I appreciate IT until Geo, Dendro, or Electro shows up cause holy smokes is my combined roster of those types sad.

I have all the 4*s built, but my combined total of 5 stars are 3 (Keqing, Chiori, Raiden) with no foreseeable chance of it changing atm.

If being able to borrow characters wasn't a thing, I probably would've failed to full stella a couple of ITs by now.

Holy cow why are all comments downvoted for seemingly no reason? Imaginarium Theater is my favourite end game content they have for now but I appreciate that they have 3 different kind of end game contents and all have different difficulty levels.

I really enjoy IT. I enjoy having to be creative with teams and utilizing the buffs.

Way better than SO, an ultra shill glorified boss battle fun
