WHY is the archon quests in nod krai so LONG
I've came back recently and i quit at the start of 6.1, I just completed the first 2 acts and working on the 3rd but why does act one feel longer than the ENTIRE natlan storyline (act 1-6,) i cant wait to do all of that over 4 more times 😃

Anyone from an older region gets its own SQ as per usual since Natlan
Case on point Mizuki,Escoffier and Skirk
But the worst is the message when you exit the story mode it feels like you'll lose progress when you won't lose anything most of the time.
They really need to add more moments where it feels right and okay to leave and not just a little saving display in the corner yk
When I do the quests, there are like 3 main sections to an AQ, and each section has like 4 sub parts. I like to do like 2 sub parts and then pick up the next day. this has greatly increased my enjoyment of the entire story.
Always starting out great, then comes a 2-hour-long slog of the characters planning and stuff, then following everyone on their little tasks, before ending the quest again with a bang.
The problem is the middle part, where there is a huge amount of dialog with little gameplay that's also not entirely necessary and could be condensed into a 1- or 2-minute montage without sacrificing important exposition. These parts feel like they were intentionally created to extend your playtime.
I've been playing Genshin for over 4 years now and have invested a lot of time and money, but for maybe the first time I feel like Hoyo isn't respecting my time with these new Archon Quests.
The latest quest was the cherry on top, with running both parts of the quest back-to-back without stopping. After 3.5 hours I had to force quit the game and continue on another day.
I'm also not quite a fan of including character stories into the Archon quests, like shoving Nefer's backstory into Rerir's quest. Then adding FOMO-incentives to low-key force players to complete the quests in a timely manner.
Now you can't skip the dedicated character ads!
BTW, you can interrupt the quest after every loading screen. Just alt+F4 and you will be put back into the normal world.
