AR 58 and never 36 starred abyss. What am i doing wrong?
I have been playing on and off for a long time and never actually cared about meta, but i wanna clear abyss once at least. Please guide me 🙏 My builds are good enough
Can we... *see* said builds? Or the teams you normally use? A list of characters and weapons is like... 30% of the info needed.

Sure! My Navia is 69/195 with 2500 attk.
Arllechino is 64/206 with 1400 attk.
Ganyu is 80/238 and 2000 attk and 80 EM
Furina is 71/158 and 37K HP
Columbina is not fully built yet, but her stats are 65/160 and 27K hp
Ayaka is 40/210 with blizzard and like 2000 attk
Venti and Kazuha are full EM VV
Raiden is full EM (no set)
The 4 stars have their designated sets, but are average build.
Few teams I run are:
Arlechino, Chevurse(c2), fischl (with venti's weapon) and Bennet/Xiangling
or
Arlechino with bennet, furina/xinqui, and kazuha/venti
Navia with columbina, furina and bennet
or Navia, bennet, xiangling and furina.
Raiden hyperbloom with dendro mc, xinqui, and last slot is flexible. (thinking of replacing raiden with kuki and mc with yaoyao)
I enjoy ganyu melt, but its not worth it anymore.
Thinking of building dps columbina by pulling for lauma or ineffa

Do keep in mind that the character you want to have a build card on must be in Character Showcase and "Show Character Details" must be turned on. Moreover, the Hoyolab app has this function as well. Arlecchino's ATK and CR are abysmally low, you want 2k+ ATK and at least 90% CR with 1:2 CR:CD ratio. Always use Bennett with her, never Xiangling in Bennett's place. Her Chevy overload team would be best for your account since you don't have Xilonen for mono pyro team or Citlali for melt.

idh good flower or feather for my arle so i know theres a lot of improvement to be done but 90/180 will be too tough for me with a 3 star weapon

Yeah, that explains the low ATK, White Tassel has a really low base ATK because its a 3* weapon but it gives you 23% CR so just keep farming Whimsy domain to get better artifacts or run 2pc 2pc ATK% artifacts. Don't be afraid to use CR circlet if you have good CDMG substats and vice versa, use optimizer to get best artifact combinations for your Arlecchino. I myself use CR circlet to reach 98/200 with her sig.

I mean, I don't know what do you expect? You never cared about meta and suddenly had a change of heart? You can't have your cake and eat it. Abyss is fairly easy (this one especially) so you probably could still do it. Just remember you don't actually need to get all the stars in one run. If you are having problems build for the 3rd stage first, 3-star it and then change your teams to make it easier on the earlier ones.

Oh man I remember my endgame turning point. I was a very casual player that started 1.4 patch. I would leave Abyss untouched for how long. IF I did try abyss, I did floor 11 and that was it.
Funny enough it was actually the Lunar mode in IT that made me start building teams cause I wanted to collect the cards. So basically I've been an endgame player for 4 months now (based on the 4 cards in my collection)

Umm yes there was? He essentially said that you should manage your expectations, since "not caring about meta" while also wanting to clear endgame content is obviously not a good mixture.
Because even if the advice given to you is solid, you might not be able to clear Spiral Abyss. And if that were the case, there is a non-zero chance it would be blamed on the game rather than your decisions, which is a big no-no for players that care about clearing the most difficult content.

You could make a lunar crystallise build with columbina and navia. Its currently coming up in the meta since lunar crystallise reactions are per instance of geo rather than time gated.
