It was part of Tsaritsa's plan. If you look closely around Paha Isle, you'll find notes about Sandrone and Dottore working together on something. Also, Tsaritsa didn't need Columbina to get to the moon, because she's a valuable asset.

Sandrone only stole it because she thought it was for the Tsaritsa. When it was only for Dottore's plan all along. Sandrone's also not a scion of benevolence, but she's not evil.

Not to mention how he's a complete psychopath: how he treated Collei and Wanderer, experimented on multiple people (including a child) with eleazar and killed them, stabbed Niwa, killed Crepus...

For me, hating Dottore means loving him as a villain.

Firstly. Did you read the manga? He didn't even interact with Collei, his subordinates did. Secondly, Pierro ordered Dottore to turn Scaramouche into god, it wasn't Dottore's will. Thirdly, he was in Eleazar hospital and, judging by logs, he was disappointed every time someone died and at the end he was able to cure it. How could you skip it?

Dottore murdered Niwa Hisahide, cut his heart out and then he used Niwa's death to manipulate Scaramouche. I really don't need to have any "proof" here since It's confirmed in the archon quest.

Of course there is him experimenting on humans, like how Crucabena sent injured orphans to him for experimentation. Source is from Arlecchinos voice lines and other sources.

These pages more or less confirm him murdering Sohreh as well, you might disagree, based on it not being absolutely confirmed, and your evident lack of media literacy, reading your comments here. But the dissection records basically tell that she was strangulated.

Another one, just in the recent archon quest he transferred the peoples minds in animals bodies, and presumably killed them all in the process considering Albedo concluded the bodies were dead.

Dottore is written to be a villain and a sociopath, and that's okay. He can't even comprehend why the traveler doesn't side with him in the recent AQ, Because he is sure that normal human behavior is to betray/abandon your friends because theyre weak.

I don't personally hate Dottore because he is just a videogame character, but there definitely are reasons to do so.

Unfortunately, there are too many inconsistencies here, but I think Mechamata will help us figure out what's right and what's wrong - as far as I know, she's investigating this case now. He had no motive to kill Soreh. There's still some things we both may have missed out, but let the youth to investigate it

At the very least the writers are pointing you at the direction of Dottore. With him being investigated for murder by the akademiya

I think it's pretty reasonable to think that Dottore is behind the murder and the rishboland tiger was used to cover up the fact.

For motive, I agree we aren't provided one at least straight up and Dottore wouldnt murder just for the sake of it. My own speculation is that Sohreh knew something he didn't want her to. There is this line to support that "...But first of all, this secret must not be revealed to the other team members...". And we know for a fact that Dottore will kill, if he thinks its necessary. We do see him murder Niwa while in irminsul after all so no denying that.

Dottore ***definitely*** has aesthetic appeal like LoL’s Jhin and Starcraft2’s Alarak, so I understand your appreciation for him, but he has plenty of reasons to be hated that aren’t “random”. Child experiments (ie Collei & Crucebena’s House of the Hearth dropouts), manipulating Scara to commit mass murder at Tatarasuna, mind control (Sumeru archon quest) and planned deaths/murders of colleagues (findable lore in Sumeru) all come to mind off the top of my head.

The nature of his crimes has me personally rate Dottore in the well-written-villain/love-to-hate category with Borderlands2’s Handsome Jack.

Traveler was under influence of those, who were affected by the fate. There weren't any conflict of interests - they had close goals, but by fate, Dottore was defined as 'outcast', that's why even Columbina, with whom he had a good relationship with, whom he didn't hurt and about whom he cared about, turned away from him.

To be clear the game itself (and by extension the writers) doesn't take this perspective

End doesn't justify the means. This is ethics 101. Also, stories, unless they have religious motivations, don't make an attempt to establish moral realism. When you have a hero ensemble cast, the villain is someone who are positioned against the cast. It doesn't make an effort to paint hero cast as objectively good or villain cast as objectively bad. Difference is: The hero cast could be shown to be in the wrong with a big reveal, but at no point do they act in bad faith **according to the game's standards and message**. Unless such a reveal happens explicitly, your entire argument will boil down to "well Dottore had his reasons", which is insufficient and pathetic.

You are at this point capable of disagreeing with people inside the Hoyo HQ

1. If you genuinely believe genshin is oversexualized, I expect you to be the person who calls anyone in short skirts a sl*t. Genshin has SOME sexualization, sure. But compared not just to gachas, not just to Asian games, but gaming as a whole, it really isn't OVERsexualized.

Ignoring that genshin specifically avoids showing blood or actual death (majority of enemies, specifically human, just run away or turn into black smoke), you can kill people in majority of the games. 3. Yes, genshin has gambling, but this comes into my point about all 3 as a whole - None of this mean that there shouldn't be chat moderation. Unless you somehow thing that just there is 1 negative thing, everything should be allowed. For Christ sake, even 18+ streamers or the like have chat moderation, and it doesn't have to be related to what they have there
